    We are filing this complaint against Round1 in Exton, PA for an incident that happened today 03/01/2025 at approximately 2 pm EST. We went to cash in our ***** Wonka and Konami game cards for tickets and realized that we did not have the entire set to get the bonus amount (i.e each game card is worth 50 tickets, but the full set is worth 1k-3k tickets). When we realized we did not have the full set, we let an employee know and they got a manager. The manager said he would have to call the district manager. The manager did not come back and instead sent an employee over to tell us that we could not get our cards back and did not give us a reason. The employee pressed complete on the screen to force us to accept the lesser value tickets and not get our cards back even though we did not wish to complete this. We then found the manager and asked him why. He said he didn't talk to us even though we had just talked to him 5 minutes beforehand. We ended up leaving and did not cash in our tickets for prizes. Nowhere on the card machine at the time we were there indicated that we could not get cards back after entering them into the machine. Attached are pictures of the proof along with the photo of all the cards we entered into the machine that were not given back to us. Ultimately we were given 450 tickets for the ***** Wonka cards opposed to 1k if we were to get the last card eventually and cash in the full set and we were given 450 tickets for the Konami cards opposed to 3k if we were to get the last card eventually and cash in the full set. It is bad business practices to not have a sign or notification to let people know the cards cannot be returned. We are asking to be reimbursed the cards we cashed in so we can attempt to get the full sets.

    Hello,

    I wanted to give you all an update that the business resolved our issue today. I had received a call from a manager at the store a few days ago and he advised that he would be there today to see that we got back our game cards. We went there today around 2 PM and tea brought us the cards, he had even given us an extra card to complete one of our sets, and he was nice enough to comp $110 worth of game play for us to play games while we were there. We no longer need to pursue the complaint and are completely satisfied with how they handled making it right.
