    Date of acceptance of proposal 5/29/24 - company was to clean and seal driveway and front walk with a water based sealer and salt guard. Caulk all joints in driveway and other places as needed. Patch 4 areas of driveway by chipping out areas, cleaning them, and patch as needed and match to existing driveway. They completed the job but were very sloppy with their patching and caulking. I reached out to them on 6/3/24 and **** said the caulking will wear off in time and the cement will blend in time. We also sent pictures of 5 quarter sized spots that were not patched and they said they werent part of the original quote but came out (without any further communication to us) and roughly patched them. We emailed them 10/28/24 to let them know we still are not happy with the finished project. They never replied to the email. We texted ***** on 11/2/24 to make sure they received the email. No response and it looks like they blocked us because the text does not say delivered.We would like refunded our 2 payments of $2,053.92 each (total $4,107.84). We will have to have the driveway redone by someone else either by fixing the work they did or replacing the entire driveway. The patch work is poorly done as is the caulking - it goes beyond the joints onto the driveway and is smeared over both edges. The acid wash is running down the slope of the driveway and then they sealed over that.

    We did everything our contract said and we did not get our final payment when job was completed. The customer signed contract before we started. In contract we did not make claims to match existing, we claimed that we would match the best we can.

    While we respect your wishes and thoughts, we will have to deny your request on work that has been completed. We completed your job in a ******* like manner and according to our agreed upon contract. Attached, I have included our original contract for your reference and before and after pictures of the completed work.

    We initially explained the difficulties with patching existing broken up concrete and suggested the best correction was to completely remove and repour the effected areas. you chose for us to clean the driveway and patch over. we have not made any claims on matching the existing concrete, but we did claim that we will match the best we can.

    We also have not received your final installment when job was completed of $2,116.16. Your account is past due. Please remit payment in full within 15 days.

    Franz Concrete is ignoring all of my complaints with regard to their finished work.  I am not only displeased with the concrete patch work, I am also displeased with the sloppy caulking, the cracks that have formed in the concrete patches, the acid wash that ran down and stained the driveway BEFORE they put a seal coat on it.  Pictures have been previously attached.  Also, their "after" picture DOES NOT accurately depict the actual finished product - I have also previously attached before and after pictures of the driveway.  We most likely will have to tear up the current driveway and completely replace it because there is no way to get the caulking off the driveway or the acid wash stains because they are now sealed in. I am still requesting a full refund of the paid amount.
