      I found Workshop Contracting Group throught Home Advisors & hired them to replace a concrete walkway & to replace 2 concrete steps on my side porch. I signed a contract with Ryan, however Chris (who was later introduced as Ryan's partner) came to do the work. The bottom porch step was left uneven (high on one side & low on the other side). The concrete on the step is falling apart. I've reached out to Chris in over 30 texts & numerous phone calls. When he never showed up as promised, I contacted Ryan who promised to fix the steps & said he no longer worked with Chris.
      Well, 16 texts, many phone calls later, unending excuses, & broken promises, Ryan, like Chris, never showed up. This has been going on since November, 2022. I reached out to their insurance company & was informed that their policy does not cover faulty or poor workmanship. However, they did contact Ryan.He said he was on vacation but would make arrangements to correct the issue with the steps. Needless to stay, we never heard from him. My husband & I are senior citizens who because of this faulty work are are risk of tripping & falling.
      This company has demonstrated their the lack of professional integrity & unwillingness to stand behind their work, I would never recommend them to anyone.

      I wanted to remove my pool and cover it with dirt, I have signed the contract on that day and gave them the deposit of $ 6000 out of $ 13000 to do the job right they did not show up until 6 months later given all kind of excuses , they come in only my county sheriff called them and it took more than 3 months to put enough dirt to cover the pool most of the time it was only 1 worker ( Cris) his partner is named Ryan rarely showed up. Right now the job has been done poorly very inferior ground no top rocks everywhere pool of water everywhere , ground not leveled. When I ask them them to come back and finished the job they wanted me to pay them another $6000 to $8000 to finish the job . I don't think I do not need to pay for anything anymore since I have fulfilled my part of the bargain and the contract but they did not and now they ask for more money I just had aggravation after aggravation dealing with this company

      I am reaching out to file a complaint about a contractor. I signed a contract with WORKSHOP CONTRACTING GROUP, LLC. License number ********. They agreed to have the work completed by early July and never started the job. September came and they had not started the work. I paid them 3200 as a down payment. I've finally asked for a refund and he agreed to pay the money back. On the day he agreed to refund the money, he had a bunch of excuses as to why he could not give it back to me. I still have not received a refund and the project was never started. I want my money back immediately. I am attaching a copy of the contract, form of payment (Venmo receipt) and the text feed between the contractor and myself communicating about the project. You will see through the text feed that I reached out multiple times and the amount of excuses we received as to why he could not get the project started.

      My situation is like the other complaint listed! I gave this company a $5,000 deposit which they immediately cashed for a fire escape to be installed at my business. I do have a contract in place. Before the work could be started I asked they complete a fixed price estimate for the bank. Every day Ryan, who I thought was the owner, but now I am finding out may be an employee, would time me he was sending it over, and it never came. One excuse after another. Finally, the bank moved our closing from 11.30 to 12.30.2022 because of this delay!! This negatively impacted my business thus I termed the agreement and immediately asked for my money back so I could hire a new contactor. Again, every day for 3 weeks Ryan said the refund was coming. Went as far as to tell me he sent it certified mail. It never came. Now no one there at the business or Ryan is returning my messages. I had my attorney send them a certified letter requesting my deposit back immediately. Again, no response. We will have now have to get the magistrate involved to settle this. THIS COMANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. THEY CONTINUE DOING THIS TO PEOPLE!

      Hey *****. I have received your letter from your attorney. I am working to get you your money back. The business ran into a plethora of issues. These issues also include my personal issues. I have given the $2000 guy his money back, and have paid the other customer $1900 out of the $3200. I will establish a payment plan with you and/or your attorney to make this right. My sincere apologies.

      I signed a contract ($6,000) with **** - Workshop Contracting Group LLC on June 21, 2022 to construct a stamped concrete patio in our primary residence. At signing, I made an initial deposit of $2,000. We had a verbal agreement that the work will be done and completed by the end of July but **** kept giving different giving dates and never showed up to do the job. So, I reached to him Oct 19, 2022 and he gave gave me the option of pulling out of the contract and I opted for that option. I requested for my initial deposit of $2,000 and he said he will provide the refund the following week - Oct 26, 2022. Up until now, **** haven't refunded the $2,000. I have tried reaching out to him and nothing positive. All I am simply asking for is to refund my deposit for a job he wasted my time for and never executed.
