      9/14/2024, rented a core aerator for my yard. Supposedly the machine was brand new and never used. I paid $127.60 for the rental, which was a 1 day rental. After using the machine for 2 minutes the cable that dropped the aerator tines to the ground broke. i returned the unit to the rental office and in lieu of a refund, an employee chose to put the machine back together. I returned to my lawn job but after using the machine for approximately 40 minutes, the drop down aerator plugger no longer would enter the ground. The job was 90% finished at that point. Since it was a Saturday morning, I still had time to return the unit before the business closing at noon that day. I asked for some type of concession in rental cost since the machine was faulty and didn't finish the job. The rental said I would receive a return phone call. At this point, after 2 attempts to get a follow-up phone call, I have received no response and my complaint to them has been ignored! It's been over a month without response!

      I purchased a ********* *** ******* chainsaw on April 28, 2023 from CH Waltz and Sons, Dallas, PA for $529.99, two chains and tax for a total of $613.31. After using the saw for one tank of fuel I had difficulty restarting it. It continually flooded. I took the saw back to Waltz who inspected it and said I was restarting it incorrectly. I own a 20+ year old *** *******, owned a ***** for 25 Years that I always started with no issues, however, I listened to how they instructed me to start the saw and went home to again cut for one tank of fuel. again, i could not restart the saw due to a flooded carburetor. Returned to the dealer who again said no issues were found. I went home, again cut one tank of fuel and noticed fuel leaking from the top of the saw when it was laid on its side to refuel which is why I believe the saw keeps flooding after one tank. Returned to CH Waltz the last week of August with my observations. Waltz said they would look into it and get back to me. When I called in mid-September to ask about the status of my saw they told me ********* had agreed to replace my carburetor (on a brand new saw!). I called in October and was told they were waiting on a carburetor from *********. I called again the end of October and and they told me they were still waiting for the part from *********. I emailed ********* who said the part would be delivered November 8. The part was delivered and still no word from CH Waltz.I heat our home with firewood and have been six months without a saw that I paid over $600 for and only used 3 times. I believe I am being punished by this dealer for raising a complaint and being disrespected and taken for a fool.
