    Bought battery in February & the life of the battery didn't last for the life of the ************ was without transportation & standard out of town & had to call 3As who did a Diagnostic stating the battery wasn't any good. I had no choice but to purchase a new battery. I contacted ***************************** refused to refund for said battery purchased in February 2024.

    Thank you for reaching out.  I did speak with Ms. Rideout regarding her battery.  Attached is the conversation that we had.  We immediately offered to refund the battery with no verification once it was returned to us, however given that the battery is not near, I suggested contacting the nationwide warranty phone number on the battery so it can be warranted which she did not want to do and then said she would contact BBB.  I greatly apologize we can't refund money for a purchase for something that hasn't been returned to us to send back to the manufacturer regardless of a picture showing me a battery they may have tested.  As a side note, the battery was discharged to 11.9 volts and a battery cannot be accurately tested at that voltage even if that was the same battery.  On her receipt it does state discharged batteries are not a manufacturers defect. 

    Regardless of all of that we did offer to refund the money had the battery been brought back or the warranty phone number been called on the battery though we were not afforded that opportunity.  I greatly apologize that Ms Rideout was not satisfied as we hope to satisfy everyone to the best of our ability.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    Manager knew battery was changed in an emergent need.

     

    I would have had no clue to have kept the original.

     

    I feel as if the company took advantage of me, the customer.

     

    This isn't the first instance to have a negative experience with Battery One.
