I purchased a vehicle on February 26 of this year from the mechanic listed above. Initially, everything appeared to be in good condition. I test drove the car, and the sellerwho came recommended by a trusted family friendseemed professional and trustworthy. Based on this, I proceeded with the purchase and paid $6,500 in full. However, shortly after taking the vehicle home, multiple warning lights began appearing on the dashboard. I contacted the mechanic and brought the car back several times. Each time, I was told the issue was minormainly tire pressure or similar concerns. I was provided with a 50/50 warranty valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.A few days before the warranty expired, I reached out again. Unfortunately, instead of speaking with the original seller, I spoke with his son, who was dismissive and unprofessional. Despite my attempts to explain the issues I was experiencing, I was told the problems were due to the cars age and its reconstructed title. This was contrary to what I was told before the sale, when I was assured the vehicle was *********** of today, May 21, I have not been able to drive the car for over a month due to these ongoing mechanical issues. I also purchased an additional warranty, but complications related to the vehicles age and condition have made it difficult to get coverage.I am a single mother of five children, and I rely on reliable transportation to get to work and support my family. Without a functioning vehicle, Ive had to pay for Ubers to get to and from work, which has placed a significant financial and emotional strain on **** am not looking to take advantage of anyoneI simply want the issues with the vehicle to be resolved fairly. I made this purchase in good faith and paid the full amount without hesitation. I am now asking the seller to stand by their word and honor the agreement, just as I have upheld my part.
