  To anyone considering living here, dont. I unfortunately lived at one of their complexes for over a year. On May 11th, 2024 I discovered mold. This was after REPEATEDLY reporting a water leak that I submitted back in January of 2024, that they continually brushed off for MONTHS. The leasing staff is probably the worst I have ever dealt with. Literal definition of slumlords. I hope for your own safety and your loved ones you consider any other complex in the ****** area. The amount of times my children and I were sick while living here is ridiculous. After the amount of condescending, low intelligence tangents I had to deal with from this staff, I hope someone condemns this complex. Absolutely no one deserves this type of treatment.

  After going without hot water for 45 days. Some longer. But myself 40ish. I complain about there problem is now affecting me and other people. I got 100 off my rent and then was told to move if that wasn't good enough. I can not stand places of business not valuing there customers. This is a apartment complex. Its not acceptable.

  Not that long ago, The Aberdeen high rise was a great apartment building. However, under the current management, it has deteriorated into nothing short of an inhospitable building more suited for armed services training than living. The building was built in the ****s. It has two old elevators. One has been out eight months. The other works only sporadically and is currently out. In the laundry room, only one out of three standard washers is operating. One has been out well over a year. Another has been out for months. Maintenance requests on these items are non-responsive. In fact, virtually every request for information/update has been non-responsive. I am temporarily saddled with mobility issues and live on the sixth floor. Walking up and down the stairs is possible, but takes over 15 minutes and a great deal of effort, not to mention the accompanying pain. Perhaps a new manager would help, but I don't know that for a fact.

  I am a tenant of one of apartment complex that is being managed by NoVa Property called The Aberdeen Apartment Complex. Last June 2022 we transferred in on of the unit that has physical address if *********************************************************** and since about July 2022 we noted that the dryer is not fully functional it will not dry up even at 3-4 cycles with only about 15 pcs light clothing materials. Constant maintenance request has been made however the management has not resolve the issue thus we opted to use outside dryer so we can dry our clothes. Last December water leak was noted that soiled about 40% of the carpet in the bedroom and they will come after about a week to put blower without communication what will be the plan to resolve the issue. I constantantly place maintenance request because the carpet is emitting a nasty and foul smell because of on and off being soiled but they never bother to fix it not until about mid January that they are able to change the carpet. However, water leak is still happening and soiled carpet still persist. I feel like living in a sewer because of the filthy smell. Particles from underneath the bathroom will overflow and it looks very disgusting. Management is ignoring our constant complain and will not communicate about the issue. I feel they discriminated us because we are not from this country and only migrated last 2022. My son is developing respiratory issues because of the nasty and foul smell emitted from the soiled carpet. We are sleeping in our living room for two months already. They don't care about their tenants comfort and they just regularly ignore our concerns. Our home should be our comfort and solace after a long day at work however it became a burden already. The unit is inhabitable and needed to fix before they allow a new tenant. If you don't want to live like you are in a sewer never rent in this place!!!!
