I had a coolant flush service done at Take 5 on 11/15/24, prior to that service my coolant tank was having no issues and no lights were on. Following the coolant flush service, my coolant light kept going off. I took my car back to Take 5 on 01/12/25 and asked them why the light kept going off, they did not know and redid the service. Fast forward to April of 2025 where I took my car to Penn automotive to get an engine issue fixed. While my car was in the shop I asked them to check the coolant tank since the light had yet to come off. The auto shop notified me that the sensor in the coolant tank was damaged and that the whole tank would have to be replaced as a result. I got the tank replaced at Penn automotive and filed a claim with Take 5. My claim was denied by Take 5 without any prior research or communication with me, I had to call customer service and check on the status, which is when they told me the claim was denied. I then disputed the claim with the Take 5, and they never responded to my dispute or my calls. At the time of this complaint I have called customer service upwards of 5 times and sent follow up emails 3 times.

In April 2025, I took my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe to have an oil change, a few weeks later my car had started making a strange noise. I had checked the oil and had noticed it was low. I took my vehicle back to Take 5 in June and they had said my car was low but in the safe zone and topped off my oil. The assistant manager that was on duty had noted everything and had explained to me to call a file a complaint with the company in which I did. I was almost killed on the interstate in my vehicle as it locked up on the interstate. My vehicle lost all power. I had nothing, no power steering, no brakes, and no power. I would like for my car to be looked at by Hyundai however I feel Take 5 should have to pay for the damages. I had no damage to my oil pump nor did I have any leaks, yet they do the oil change and now I have no vehicle. I would like for my car to be repaired or damages paid for.
