They have a reward program that you get 100 points for every time you donate. And after you have ***** points you can redeem those points for gift cards. You can get a thousand points per month. But they only allow you to redeem ***** points every 90 days. You basically keep accumulating more reward points than you can use. So they're basically leading people on with the reward but you can't actually redeem the rewards you get.

I went to this center to donate on 04/10 and
again on 04/11 was temporarily deferred for each of those days. On 04/10 I was deferred due to a technician error. SHE SIMPLY DID NOT STICK ME RIGHT. IF SHE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE WITH MY VEIN, SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE TRIED TO STICK ME PERIOD. DON'T PRACTICE ON ME. So this day she got a flash BUT the needle wasn't in the vein correctly so the blood didn't flow. I agreed to pulling the needle and I agreed to a re stick... Which is NORMAL PROTOCOL to be able to be paid a FULL DONATION because it was not an error on the DONORS BEHALF. This re-stick which THE SAME TECHNICIAN PERFORMED instead of passing me off to someone MORE QUALIFIED resulted in a flash and no blood flow because the needle was in the vein but not inserted right. The needle began to hurt because she was probing and digging so it ended up having to be pulled. Upon pulling the needle blood began to squirt everywhere. We caught it and applied pressure. I WAS NOT DEHYDRATED. I HAD GOOD FLOW. I could've had a viable donation with the proper stick. She was like oh we're gonna give you $5 because we didn't get any plasma from you. I'm like good on, I was stuck TWICE and it was the employee's fault. This was not a viable donation due to me being DEHYDRATED, which they claim not to pay out IF the LACK OF FLUIDS or LACK OF PROPER DIET causes the lack of plasma collection. I asked them how would I possibly be able to donate the following day, , DUE TO THE TECHNICIAN"S ERROR when the way she tried to get the needle to flow by digging and proving in my arm....WAS GONNA RESULT IN A BRUISE. I was given an ice pack, told it wouldn't be a bruise and I could come back the following day...... WHEN THE FAULTY STUCK RESULTED IN THE BRUISE THAT I SAID THAT IT WAS GONNA PRODUCE HAPPENED..... When I arrived the next day, guess what.....I wasn't able to donate because of said bruise forming. I tried to resolve this with 2 different managers to no avail. I lost $180 for the week. No way! How?
