      Save your money ! Constant mistakes and will not put anything in writing . All they want to do is talk on the phone . I have a folder full of mistakes and unanswered emails. When management got involved they claimed they never received the emails but the sales rep replied to one. How can an advertising loose emails . The ironic thing everyone's title is SR of whatever depatrtment but ran like Jr's or flunkies. Avoid the shear madness of this company . We received 3 calls and 2 was us seeing if # actually worked. They can not show you proof of what they did for your company . When you challenge them they get real hostile or schedule a call . A big rip off

      The team at RevLocal is responsive and make it easy to understand marketing for small businesses. I’m surprised by some of these negative reviews because I was referred to them by a friend who also uses them and they have had a great experience as well.

      Revlocal was good when they start the business but i think they got greedy and just put 10% of our advertising budget to the google ads .Very disappointing

      RevLocal doesn't honor it's guarantee. When challenged they become a hostile company that's only interest is being paid. RevLocal won't produce any evidence they actually published google ads.

      We have used RevLocal for several years. They have helped my husband's business increase revenue by over 80% this year alone. As I read these negative reviews, I feel these people did not give this time to work. Digital marketing and relevance with Google takes time and effort to be effective. We did not see immediate results, but stuck with it and after 6 months we started to see results. RevLocal has thousands of clients and I trust them 100%. To the people coming on here and trying to tarnish their reputation, you should have given it more time. They are not a scam, they are Global Premier Google Partners and one of the top agencies in the country. Keep up the good work RevLocal!

      I know its rare to come here to say what a great experience you have had with a company, but that's what I am doing. **** ******, in Cincinnati, has been amazing. He and his team do monthly calls to communicate with us, have offered options each time they see or anticipate a need, and our revenue plus exposure has grown....I appreciate the genuine concern and follow thru that we are given.       This is a 100% scam. I think M***** pretends to live in the area so it breaks down your first barrier of caution. I should’ve known when he told me “yea this covid stuff is awful, I wish we could meet up in person, I love being social and going out.” I feel like an idiot for believing this guy. I’m 33 years old, I should’ve known better so that’s on me. I get about 10 calls like this a week. I was just desperate and trying to grow my business a little. I have the employees but not the jobs. This is ruining my business. I could’ve done so much with the amount of money I paid these guys. Seriously, you all have ruined my business that I’ve worked my ass off to build in 4 years. This is modern day robbery. This is theft and I honestly think you all should be held accountable for your actions. I think you should be thrown in jail for at least 3-5 years. You mislead, you lie, you promise things that you never deliver. I caught alex off guard one time, I don’t know why he picked up, my guy works in a call center who knows where. Phones ringing in the background, about 30 people talking, sounded like wolf of Wall Street and they’re hitting big on the penny stocks. All jokes aside, these people should be held accountable. It’s disgusting what you all are doing, especially to small businesses. We all work hard, and we struggle and we work 50-80 hours a week. We try to do our finances, take care of our employees, meanwhile dealing with customers who are always my number 1 priority, right next to my employees. They will respond to this review, I have a lot of different email accounts or whatever I need to do to write another review on what actually happened after they responded to this. If I don’t get to take you all down in court I truly hope karma hits you hard.

      Definitely the worst company we have ever used in 23 years! We were sold a bill of goods from their local sales rep in Houston, who promised the moon and delivered the Dumpster. We were originally told by our Sales representative that we could target certain Zip Codes which was VERY IMPORATANT to our business model , and one of the main drivers why chose to use RevLocal this year instead of the previous SUCCESSFUL marketing campaigns we had used in the past. We also were insured by our Acct Rep in our first meeting that the Zip Codes we chose were being targeted by Rev Local with the monies we were spending. You can imagine our surprise when we received the email from Rev Local the last month of our campaign (June 1) 6 moths later telling us they are not able to target zip codes!! This was never brought to our attention at anytime previously – This alone would have prevented us from signing on with RevLocal, so you can imagine how we felt we were told anything to sign on the dotted line. We know they were also aware that the wrong Key Words were used for the initial 2 -3 months as well as the wrong areas targeted – which we feel greatly damaged our business opportunities this year. Shame on us for not checking reviews earlier - If you are a Business Owner considering using this company - DO NOT DO IT! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AGGRIVATION!

      On January 31, 2023 I was reviewing companies to replace my previous advertising firm that was bought out. I searched on the Revlocal site and saw on their reviews page the BBB logo. I clicked on it and it lead me to their own controlled and filtered site leading me to believe that they were a 5.0 rated firm by the BBB. I found out later they are rated at 3.2. They insisted that my current budget needed to be increased from $1,032 (which yielded $1.8 million in sales on my 2022 tax return), would need to be adjusted up 250% to $2500 to get any results. The salesman was very convincing so I did. I explained I wanted commercial, non-residential calls. In four months I didn't get a single commercial call (I did get maybe 50 residential calls which had insisted I didn't want). No calls means no sales for me. I called them 3 times to express my concerns and got the same answer all three times. "I have been thinking about you and I have come up with several adjustments we can do to your campaign that will yield great results." No change ever. I spent $12,000 in 4 months and got no calls. I ordered them to terminate for lack of results and was told, "You are still are going to have to pay the last two $2500 payments." I went from $1.8 million in sales to $0.00 in sales which cost me $12,000. So I would like to tell any inquirers to the BBB looking for genuine reviews on Revlocal about my experience. My rating would be 0 out of 5, because that's how many calls I got.*
