  Matt Davis recently replaced a damaged monolithic foundation for a detached garage. Removal went very well and took less than a day. Excavating and setting up for the monolithic slab took less than a day and passed county inspection. He poured the cement and finished in about a day. The entire project went very smooth. His crew was polite and did not mind my questions. He returned the next day to check on the slab and answer any other questions I had. I am very pleased with Matt Davis and highly recommend him.

  Highly do NOT recommend Matt D**** for any concrete project. Really wishing we went with a company we could trust our home with. Matt/Crew disrespected us and our home from the beginning. We were first alerted of them being in our front yard by jackhammering and items falling off our walls. Matt did not pour the concrete to the specifications as discussed, leaving behind a tripping hazard, unfinished porch, and a sidewalk poured way too high. In addition, they splattered concrete on the brick of our home and new windows, and also killed multiple plants in the flower bed by being careless. When we addressed our concerns politely, he became aggressive - yelling and cursing at us, refusing to remedy (he caused a big scene in our front yard). We now have to start over with finding someone we can trust to tear up what was done/complete our concrete project, and clean up the mess that was left.

  A few things to note here:
  I never start a job without the customer's knowledge.
  We are a family company and I believe very strongly in good customer service, so being disrespectful to a customer is not accepted.
  The work on the sidewalk was completed using my 35 years of experience.  It was completed like all of my other jobs; correctly and with pride.  I take special measures like plastic and plywood to cover areas and protect them from concrete splatter, because again, we take pride in our work.  Unfortunately, sometimes it's unavoidable to step on plants.  Most people understand this when they contract cement work.  
  And the biggest note of all: I was never paid for this job.

  **** and his crew tore out 2 broken concrete steps, replaced them and repaired 1 step. He also poured a concrete landing at the bottom of the steps. They did a phenomenal job. We are very pleased with the work. They take pride in their work and care about their customers.
