    I vacated my storage unit on June 9, 2025, and went to the office that day to inform the staff, but the office was already closed. The following day, I called to finalize the contract and return the unit. I was told that in order to complete the cancellation, I needed to email photos showing the unit was empty. I promptly sent the requested photos to the provided email address: **************************.

    After a week passed with no confirmation or response, I followed up by phone. I was told to wait for a call back. Another week went by with no contact, so I called again and was told once more that someone would reach out to me shortly. As of today, nearly a month later, I have still not received any confirmation of cancellation, and I have now been charged for an additional month despite having vacated the unit and followed all instructions to finalize the return.

    I am seeking confirmation of cancellation and a reversal of any charges incurred after June 9, 2025.

    We are not sure what exactly he is looking for here. I did check the system, he was moved out on our system on 6/26/25. He was paid in full for the month of June. 

    Tenant was charged June rent on June 1, 2025. This rent covered the rental period of June 1, 2025- June 30, 2025. Tenant sent notice of move out on June 9, 2025. This was fine as he was paid in full for the month of June. It appears that Tenant is requesting a refund or pro-rated charges for unused storage time from June 9-June 30, 2025? Not clear as to his request. 

    At any point, there is no refund that is due to tenant. Per the rental agreement, tenant is a month to month renter. All monthly charges are due and payable on the first day of each month. In this case, his card was charged on June 1, 2025 for his June rent. Tenant then informed us that he vacated on June 9, 2025. Tenant was well within his rights to vacate on June 9, but he is still responsible for the full month of storage, per his rental agreement, even if he does not occupy the unit for the entire month.  The storage contract is a monthly rental contract and not a daily rental contract. Therefore, all tenants are responsible for paying a monthly fee to rent the unit and we do not pro-rate if the tenant chooses to vacate the space before the end of the month. 

    I apologize if he did not receive a follow up call to confirm he vacated the unit. I can tell state that the tenant has been moved out on the system and the unit shows vacant. Also, tenant was paid in full for all charges incurred under his rental agreement. There is no refund that is due.
