Very happy with Logan’s team. They called and showed up early (which I appreciated with no AC!) and got my new unit installed in less time than anticipated. I’m looking forward to the peace of mind that the new, reliable unit will bring!Logan AC & Heat Services

I called Logan to check my AC can not get humity below 70%. They checked furnace humidifier? they did not check AC condition at all. Charged me 109 Dollars and did nothing.. Called them back because i have the same problem. The lady on the phone has no idea how a AC works Was willing to send a tech but i would have to pay the service fee( 109) again. She adviced me if i had signed a service contract they would have checked the AC.Logan AC & Heat Services

Thank you for your latest feedback. We wanted to look further into your account and the appointment you had with our technician to determine what repairs took place. When we came to your residence on July 18th for a humidity issue in the home, our technician found the humidifier valve was bypassed to directly run to the humidifier pad, which you had done. When the humidifier valve is bypassed in this manner, it does not engage the solenoid, which as a result will cause the humidifier to constantly run and not shut off when necessary, putting excess moisture into your home’s air. This is causing the high humidity issues you have in your home. When our technician made the repair, he noticed a difference in the humidity in your home before he left your residence. According to the technician’s invoice, you had bypassed the solenoid due to it clogging up each year from hard water. At this time, the options to correct the humidity in the home would be to either re-run the water line back into the solenoid or replace the solenoid and then to re-run the water line. Until such adjustments are made on your system, excess humidity will continue to be present in your home.Review fromC. W.

I purchased $15,000 worth of heating and AC in March, 2022. I was told I needed an upgraded system to adequately cool my loft as my condo (2,043 square feet) has a vaulted ceiling in my kitchen leading up to my loft. The thermostat has to be turned to approximately 66 degrees to get the temperature to around 72 in the loft. The temp is set at 66 degrees, however, the actual temperature in the downstairs is around 60 degrees. All of this is controlled by a blue tooth "stabilizer" they gave me for the loft. In reality I should have purchased a much small Trane unit and added what Logan is now recommending I buy, a mini split unit at the cost of $6,000. My previous homes, both with vaulted ceilings and lofts (3,516 square feet and 2,778 square feet) never had an issue with such a variance in temperature in the upstairs. I certainly didn't require a mini-split at either location. A major difference in my previous two homes is that cold air return in the condo is in the basement which isn't the best place for it to be located. The salesman saw this yet still encouraged me to by the next to the top of the line of Trane units. This issue will not be resolved as Logan has sent techs out and have done all they can. My mistake was to trust this family owned business, because I prefer to work with smaller companies and I didn't get another estimate when I purchased this unit.Logan AC & Heat Services

Thank you for your feedback. It does appear our service technicians came out to your home multiple times to address the cooling issue in the upper level of your home. In addition, we had our field supervisor out to your home to do a full evaluation of your system to see if there were any issues to address at that time. After reading through the latest invoices, it does appear Logan Services has done everything to ensure the system is operating at peak performance for you and to factory specifications. Before the installation of your new equipment there was a 15 degree difference in your home, but after we installed your new heating and cooling system, that dropped down to a 7 degree difference. Per our field supervisor, a difference of 10 degrees or less between 2 separate floors is normal. It appears we also returned to install a wireless temperature sensor to help even out the temperature on the 2 levels of your home. Every home has a different set-up and different style in which it is able to heat and cool comfortably. The next best recommendation to help cool the upstairs to your desired temperature was the mini split system you were quoted. These 2 systems working together would allow your home to cool to your desired temperature in the home.C. W.

If I knew now what you know and all of your technicians knew and your sales person knew, I would not have purchased a top of the line heating and A/C unit. I would have purchased a much smaller, less expensive unit and the NOW RECOMMENDED mini split system. I've invested $15,000 already and can't afford to pay you another $6,000. The sales rep saw my condo. Told me I needed top end because of vaulted ceilings and loft. He saw my entire condo and should have known cooling the loft area would be difficult because of where the cold air return duct is - in the basement.Review fromClaudia N

Two years ago, our old thermostat's battery dead. My husband because of dementia bothered him, he couldn't figure out what happened to the thermostat, at that time I didn't have any idea about thermostat, I couldn’t do any favor in the situation. So, Bob called Logan service. When the technician came, found out the problem was that the battery of the thermostat needed to be replaced with a new pair of batteries. For such a simple thing, we had to pay the technician of Logan service $109.99 for the troubleshooting! A really big joke was made by our ignorance! We could tell how unfair the charge from Logan service was! But the thing did not end! He - the technician tried his best to persuade Bob to replace the old system with a new one. He scared us by saying that if you didn't change the old system, there was the possibility that carbon monoxide would be produced and kill you. It was really a scary story. In fact,he could literally suggest we could go to buy a carbon monoxide detector, but he didn't.He wanted to earn money from us by asking us to replace the old system which was still running very good.At that time,as a new resident of America, I didn't have any idea that the furnace could discharge carbon monoxide into the house, and didn't know we could buy a carbon monoxide detector. For Bob,a smart guy who originally was, but his dementia caused him no judgment for what was true or not true. And he, the technician, also said by using the new system, we could save money by the efficiency (two more years experiences have shown it was not true, the new system doesn't prompt efficiency to let us save money). After a few minutes' hesitation, Bob decided to listen to this guy and replace the old system with a new one, that was the Trane system came into the story(after discount, we needed to pay $8,200+$109.99).Just after two years, the thermostat broke. For the over charge and the poor ethical business of Logan service, we will definitely not recommend it to anyone else.Logan AC & Heat Services

My apologies for the delay in writing this review- I initially had Logan come out to access the situation with my Furnace since they had wonderful review from people that I have done business with. The first gentleman came out and he was wonderful fixed the furnace and powered it up and it worked for about two days- I had them come out again and this time they determined that a part was needed that was unavailable- Since it was the weekend and I was left without heat - I was disappointed- They however tried relentlessly to get a part that even my electrician confirmed would take months if available at all. After reaching out to many AC companies and getting estimates I finalized that Logan was correct and reasonable in pricing. I also reached out to many companies for pricing of a new unit and warranty- logan by far exceeded expectations in pricing service and reliability- They credited all other charges that I paid to my unit and still outbid the other companies with a Trane unit(s) The install and both Steve (the sales representative and the install team worked effortlessly to have both the Furnace and AC units installed in one day. I want to thank Logan for all that they have done and acknowledging Veterans in their pricing. Thank you Team and especially Steve, Ty Gates and Bradley whom were there everyday to oversee that my expectations were met and exceeded.Logan AC & Heat Services
