      11/7/24 ***** *** hires Best Karpet Klean for my unit. Captured on video, BKK Employee reenters home after leaving with equipment, to get in my fridge. Also found a damaged nightstand from wet spot. Contacted Property Manager to report.
      I contact Waymakers Restoration, who referred to Blacks Restoration.
      11/13/24 Tom Black provides text quote, forward to PM. In text & email it is clear ONLY CHECKS AND CASH ARE ACCEPTED
      11/20 Email to PM: Blacks will only schedule work after they receive a check for repair. PM replies BKK has offered direct reimbursement or pay for repairs directly. PM provided BKK with Blacks info to pay, Wait for confirm of payment.
      12/9 Contact Blacks- he has not received a check. Reach out to PM. BKK Sam ****** responds he will pay once work is done. That is not the agreement and I say so.
      12/16 Contact Sam via email CCing PM. He reveals he can ONLY pay with credit card. I was never told this before. Tell Sam that if I have to find another restorer who only accepts CC, the estimate may change.
      12/23 Contact other companies. Woodmasters responds that the repair will be $400, and I ask Sam if that is ok.
      12/30 Sams responds is he is waiting on me to schedule. Says nothing about the $400. I try to schedule with Woodmasters and no response.
      1/6-7/25 I contact Hearth Woodworks. They quote $500. Try to schedule and get no response. I get a quote from Clarke Company, $800 and send Sam the quote. He says I only told him $275 in the beginning. Asks for info to pay that amount. I had already given Clarke info & instructions to Sam. I ask to speak to owner. No response.
      1/8 Email BKK corp customer service. No response
      1/10 3:40pm Call BKK corp, ask to speak with owner. Mikayla says no one there.
      1/14 call. Mikayla says no response.
      1/15 call, ask for response by 1/17
      1/17 call. still no response.
      I have gone to great lengths to find a restorer who accepts credit cards after BKK changed terms of reimbursement. A $300 check from BKK for repairs is expected.
