    In the interest of factual clarity please find herein our response.
    Moving Claim Services (MCS) provides claim resolution services for B2B Moving & Storage.
    On August 27, 2024, the Shipper requested and received moving services from B2B Moving & Storage
    from ******* ** ** ******** ***
    According to the Contract Bill of Lading, no exceptions were noted at the time of delivery with respect to
    any damages as acknowledged and agreed as evidence of the Shipper’s signature.
    According to the Walk Thru Addendum completed upon the completion of the moving services, no
    exceptions were noted at the end of the day with respect to any damages as acknowledged and agreed as
    evidence of the Shipper’s signature.
    On May 7, 2025, nearly nine months after the date of moving services at approximately 9:22 a.m. the
    Shipper left a message at Moving Claim Services.
    Moving Claim Services contacted B2B Moving inquiring as to any emails from the Shipper with respect to
    damages.
    According to B2B Moving, the Shipper never emailed B2B regarding any damages to a broken hinge.

    B2B further responded, the Shipper never submitted a claim for any damages.
    OH state law is clear. Shippers are provided 60 days from the date of the moving services to submit a
    claim of damages.
    On May 7, 2025, *** ****** ** *********, Senior Claims Director at Moving Claim Services left a
    message for the Shipper. The Shipper did not return the call.
    In as much as the claim was well beyond the state of OH’s legal parameters for submitting a claim to the
    Carrier AND the Shipper never provided written notice to the Carrier of any damages to any household
    goods AND the Carrier was not provided their rightful and lawful opportunity to address the damages in a
    timely manner AND the Carrier was not in the care, custody and control of the item within the prior nine
    months, as a courtesy, On May 8, 2025, Moving Claim Services emailed a claim package providing the
    Shipper the opportunity to submit his claim, a gracious gesture by any reasonable standard.
    Within an email dated May 10, 2025, the Shipper emailed a photo of a hinge, reflecting 2 new screws the
    Shipper fastened to the hinge.
    Within an email date May 21, 2025, the Shipper submitted a claim.
    In as much as the Shipper’s opportunity for a timely claim submission had long ago expired and no Carrier
    shall be responsible nor held liable nor required to simply assume liability nearly nine months after the date
    of moving services for an item claimed as damaged one of which the Carrier was never provide written
    notice of nor was the Carrier ever provided their rightful and lawful opportunity to assess the item as to
    move related damages and/or assess the claim in a timely manner, Moving Claim Services nevertheless
    graciously extended to the Shipper an opportunity to submit a claim for review.
    Regrettably, Moving Claim Services’s extended and gracious consideration of a claim submission and a
    subsequent review was not expressed with appreciation by the Shipper but rather a BBB complaint not
    wholly presented and an unreasonable and unsubstantiated demand of $300.00 concerning a claim that B2B
    Moving never received.
    The Shipper will receive a response to this matter on or before July 21, 2025.
