Concrete was poured inside my pole barn on Dec 8, 2022. The approach was poured Mar 20, 2023. I notified ******* on July 23, 2023, of flaking on the inside concrete and pot marks on the approach. He asked for pictures, which I sent him. He came out to look at it. He said he would replace to two sections of the approach but wanted someone else to come look at the flaking on the inside of my pole barn. On Aug 19, 2023 I emailed him asking where we were with fixing my problem. His response was that he "was busy" but would resolve things before it got cold. On Dec 9, 2023 I emailed him again asking when we were going to fix my problem. His response was "We will get there I promise." I have heard nothing from him yet again. I don't know how to get him to fix the pot holes in my concrete. His response seems to be to ignore me. I am getting nowhere and we are long past "before it gets cold" last winter. There has been no one with him to come look at what the flaking was inside the pole barn, nor has he returned to replace the two sections with the pot holes in them. I paid "extra" to make the concrete "stronger". I realize that sometimes things go wrong, but don't they also need to be repaired? I feel that trying to contact him again will once again either be ignored or false promises. His invoice was paid in full. He took off the amount he was going to charge for seeding the area around the pole barn since it would have rotted over the winter. He had also done driveway grading and brought gravel in when he worked on the concrete. Pole barn prep and concrete work was $8,400. Prep and concrete for the approach was $2,400. Gravel beside the pole barn was $1,800. And cutting the drive and regrading was $3,200. Grading, seeding and straw for the area was $1,000, but that amount was agreed to not be done due to the timing of the weather and the fact that the seed would probably rot over the snow and cold weather. It was agreed that we not do that.
