    Brian is absolutely the best. Responsive and always setting good expectations. We had a sump pump issue and worked with us to provide immediate fix and then next day was here for a long term solution. Always economical and upfront on any pricing. You wont go wrong hiring S&S.

    We have been highly disappointed with S&S Builders and the owner Brian Sc***** for his lack of commitment and responsiveness, especially since he was recommended by a neighbor. Despite signing an agreement and paying $500 for a basement design, we have yet to receive any progress after seven months. When we signed in December, we were assured we were next on his project list, with construction expected to begin shortly thereafter. We gave him our budget and he said he could find ways to value engineer to achieve it.
    Brian became unresponsive, prompting us to seek recommendations on our neighborhood ******** page. amazingly he was again recommended. We shared our experience with the group and as a result, he terminated our agreement, refunded only $200, and failed to deliver a final design.
    If this is indicative of S&S Builders performance during the design phase, we are concerned about S&S reliability during construction. Communication has been sporadic, with weeks passing without any response.
    I highly recommend not using this business.

    We have used S&S Builders for our home improvement projects for over 10 years and always recommend them to others. Their expertise, dedication, communication and commitment to quality work is the reason why we continue to contract with them. They have installed a coffered ceiling with beams in our sunroom, customized wainscoting on our entire first floor, finished a workout room, customized a specialty liquor cabinet door that is a barn door style with locking capabilities, remodeled and installed a large kitchen island, and is gearing up to remodel a full guest bath for us, in addition to small projects like changing out light fixtures, electrical work, ceiling fan installations. We highly recommend Brian and his team for any home projects.

    The S & S team is the only company we will use for my home improvement projects. We have partnered with them on our last two homes in the Hyde Park and Milford area. They are the friendliest staff, always on time and their attention to detail and workmanship is second to none. They always seem to go above and beyond. We have relied on them for the following projects; full wooden porch reconstruction, basement wet bar, full bathroom with flooring, sports memorabilia wall, kids playroom, and closet in the basement. They recently replaced our water heater and upgraded it from electric to gas. We have referred S&S to all our friends over the past 15-plus years and is always our first and last call for home improvement projects
