"Had John come out and do an estimate and I asked if he was state certified and asked for his card and he said he lost it and showed me an email from Berkshire insurance and said he had a million dollar policy so I checked bbb and he was not credited but ******* **** gave him 5 stars so I gave him a chance and he came out on 2/29/24 and put the furnace in and then on 3/1/24 put the air unit in and there was a problem with the humidifier that was hooked up to the previous furnace and we agreed to let it run for an hour to see if it would stop running and it wouldn’t so I called him back on the same day at 1:40 pm and he wouldn’t answer so I texted he wouldn’t reply and so I waited till Saturday and told him I found the schematics to the humidifier and I googled and think I found the problem but I myself wasn’t certified and so I waited for him to call or text me back and told him to give me 24 hours notice before he comes out so I can be sure to be home and he texted Monday morning said he would come after lunch or first thing Monday morning and he never came Monday afternoon after I waited till 3:30 pm and texted him and told him I had to go so I would see him Tuesday morning and he never replied and first thing Tuesday called and said he was sick and possibly had Covid and said he had a doctors appointment at 11:30 am so I said ok just get tested and then I texted 30 minutes later and asked if he tested negative could he come fix it in the afternoon because we were having 2nd thoughts cause we had been burned by previous contractors and he was very rude and called me cussed me out and I called the Ohio commissions licensing department to see if he was really certified in hvac and low and behold he was NOT certified and called his so called Berkshire insurance and they told me they never heard of him or his business.DO NOT LET JOHN W***** TOUCH YOUR HOME HE IS A CON ARTIST!" ... BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic.
