    We spent approx 40k on a patio and retaining wall in Oct 2021. We have spent the following 3 years trying to get Techo Bloc to address the efflorescence on our wall. At no point were we told it was posssible the final look wouldn’t be black. At no point we were told efflorescence was a possibility. We followed up numerous times and were told it’s normal and nothing could be done. Finally, in the fall of 2023 we were told by a new rep that they could clean the wall, and seal it to recapture the black color. In the spring of 2024 the company missed a planned date for service and had to be threatened with legal action to set a date. Once they arrived, they told us that Techo bloc would only be cleaning the wall, not sealing it and they would not reimburse us for the service

     I am rejecting this response because:
    The company cleaned the wall only after repeated communication. At no point did I concur that I was satisfied with the result. In fact, I requested that the wall be sealed at the expense of Techo bloc. When we were visited in fall/early winter  2023 we were shown a picture of sealed block that would then resemble the pictures as advertised. As inBLACK. When the representative came in June 2024 they said that Techo bloc would not entertain sealing at their expense. Flat out. They suggested that I follow through on sourcing the appropriate chemical and labor at the expense of my own time and money. 
     He then visited after my BBB complaint to finish the cleaning, at which point he said they would seal the wall. He promised training for himself and samples to be shown to us the home owners the week of 6/24/2024. As of 6/27 nothing further has been addressed. The wall is only slightly improved and will continue to leach minerals per the Techo bloc representatives own admission. I am not satisfied and until the wall is sealed  black Techo bloc has not delivered on their product. I am not willing to accept this as a closed matter. This is wholly unacceptable.

    See attached response as well as a copy of the customer care and maintenance guide that can be found on our website.  The care and maintenance guide provides homeowners instructions on how to maintain their product (ex: applying a sealer)
