    I went to Jilly's Saloon on Thursday, November 2nd and had 2 beers that totaled to $10 exactly, I paid that price and remember writing out the $10 on the transaction line as the final amount with the tip crossed out (service was very poor - bartender took over 45 minutes to open a beer as she was chatting with friends).

    Today (11/8) I am checking my bank statements and see that the bartender decided to include a $10 tip for herself, making the total $20, which was posted 11/6 to my bank account. This is blatantly stealing money with no discretion, I'm pretty shocked she actually increased the entire bill by 200% and didn't think I would notice. Google reviews seem to indicate this isn't the first time this business has overcharged customers by lying about their tips when inputting it. I have filed a dispute with my bank and will be calling the business to let them know I filed a dispute + am aware that the bartender will overcharge.

    We pride ourselves on making sure that tabs are in order and fixing any complaint in our bar to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately, mistakes happen and it appears there was an overcharge of $10.00 that night upon review. That particular evening our  bartender was entering all tips manually at the end of the night and misread the total line and the tip line on the merchant copy. The customer has not contacted the bar owner, for which we would have made this correct immediately, as mistakes do happen. We understand that this particular situation can be upsetting and would like to correct it as this was an honest mistake on our bartender's behalf and she is deeply apologetic for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have also reached out to the customer to correct this mistake.
