Speakers Beware! I purchased a speakers web site profile from Dan E******* of Professional Speakers Bureau International after listening to his hard sell pitch and paying $800 for a profile on their website. After 3 weeks, he still had no profile on his site for me and I sent him emails and texts for a few days starting on June 13. He finally answered me back on day 3 on June 16, stating that he had a death in the family, that he had web site template issues (also telling me "no excuse") and that my profile would be posted the next day. I asked for a refund as I do not want to be represented by this company and their lack of priority with my account. A 3 week delay due to a death in the family is hard to believe. His lack of attention to getting my profile online was a good sign of what was to come and I was right as his behavior since asking for a refund confirmed every suspicion and doubt that I had about this man.. After asking for a refund, the owner, Dan E*******, refused to issue my refund of $800, would rather get lawyers involved rather than simply end this relationship when someone doesn't want to work with you. He claims to have a three day "Right of Recision" (he originally called it a "3 day right of recession") after purchase. Without producing a product or posting my profile on his web site, that made up and unlawful 3 day "right of recision" should be after the product is delivered. He also has no posted or written refund policies, no contracts were ever signed and that was my fault for not making sure of that first. It took him 3 weeks and I had enough at this point. So this is how he treats his speakers, or prospective speakers, when they do not like what is happening with his "services" or request a refund. He still wants to work with me to justify keeping my money knowing full well he has no incentive to try and book me. As far as I'm concerned, this man has stolen $800 from me and I wanted to let you know about his character or lack thereof.
