Staff used scare tactics to urge an immediate overhaul of my system at over 10 times the cost of the actual maintenance work needed. Thankfully 2 other providers and the public utility gave me solace and fair pricing. When a company estimates repairs at $20k+ with their associated credit card, and the estimates from others come in at under $2k, they have shown you who they are. Believe them.

On our initial visit, we performed a main line cabling. The only access that the customer had to clean the sewer from was a 4” opening, which means we could only us a 3 or 4” cutter to remove the roots. Included in our sewer cleaning is a complimentary camera inspection of the sewer. Our video inspection revealed that the sewer had a large root growth at one section approx. 80’ from the house that was impassable. That section appeared to be in the road, where the County would be responsible. Our Supervisor advised the customer to reach out to the ***** County Sewer Department in order to determine if the county assumed responsibility. The county informed the customer that they had a 6” sewer. At that point, Roto-Rooter sent a technician out to hydro-jet the sewer (at no additional cost) in order to remove the obstruction.
