    I paid a deposit the week before Christmas 2023, and my first months rent on 1.2.24 with money orders for a total of $1490.00 to Robert Reams. We were at the apartment complex at *** * ***** *** ********* ** for about a half hour. I signed a lease. he said I could not see the apartment because he forgot his keys. 

    We agreed I would move in the week of January 18th. He texted me multiple times to say I would be in by the 18th. On the 17th, he asked me to meet him at the apartment. When I arrived, he showed me the meter box because there was no power to the apartment, and AEP had capped the meter. Because there was no power I could not move in. Then I went in with him, and found out there were no floors, the walls needed to be painted, the stove didn't work. 

    I told him I was scheduled to move out. 

    Two weeks later, he said I could move in. I moved in on 2.8.24. I texted him that evening to say the stove doesn't work, and the apartment had not been cleaned. he did not respond. 

    I moved out on 2.14.24. 

    I asked my case manager to contact them on my behalf. Then he texted me to say he had another apartment available. I said no. He said he would get my deposit back.

    O* 12.1.23, I paid $645 i* *ash to ****** as a deposit for a* apartment at *** * ***** **, *** *, *olumbus, OH. My lease shows my move i* date as 12.26.23. O* 12.27.23, he told me he was working o* the apartment. He said I *ould move i* 12.28.23. O* 1.2.24, he agai* said I *ould move in, but he wasn't there. I texted him saying I was homeless and to stop playing with me. He replied he had a* emergen*y, and he would retur* my money as I *ouldn't wait another week. He tried to take money off of my debit *a** eve* though I never got the keys to the apartment. I never moved i* be*ause ****** never showed up.
