    When I arrived home today after a hospital stay my home was HOT. I called Tanner since they did the original installation years ago. I was concerned that it would be days before I could get service, but Lisa said she could have someone out today. Nate came, was very professional, used his "booties" in the house to protect my floors, and had it repaired in no time. It seems my landscaper had damaged the wiring connection between the A/C and the house. I highly recommend Tanner!

    I called Tanner Heating and Air Conditioning to visit our property in Dayton, Ohio to assess the heating unit that was not working, and give us an assessment on what to do. We understand that it is typical for such vendors to visit a site, charge and fee, and, typically, deduct said fee from the cost of the work done if they are hired. It is also typical to forfeit said fee if the vendor is not hired.
    Tanner's 'Shane' simply stated, "They thing is a piece of garbage, and has problems beyond repair. How do you intend to pay the $179 for our visit?" I was shocked that the next thing was not a recommendation on replacing the unit, instead, "You have to contact a different part of the company to get a quote on replacement." What! We were not told that at the outset, and yes I raised my voice in frustration while willingly paying the $179. I called back to arrange the next phase, only to have Shane state, "You just read me the riot act, and Tanner is not interested in doing business with you. Get somebody else to fix your unit." Enjoy your $179 Tanner, and beware anyone calling to get an assessment and recommendation.

    Tanner Heating/Air Conditioning, Inc. schedule and perform a service call for Mr. C***** On afterhours rates. The furnace has a bad heat exchanger it is not repairable, we informed Mr. C***** of that. We do charge for diagnostic service calls. We do not charge for sales estimates. Tanner Heating/Air Conditioning, Inc. Has a professional staff, we employe service technicians to perform service repair work, we employe sales staff to do estimates and sales proposals. Mr. C***** is an out of state landlord, that had already hired 4 previous contractors to assess the furnace, those companies did not repair the furnace, per conversation with resident tenant. The installation has several defiencies.MR. C***** called back in to Tanner Heating/Air Conditioning, Inc. and had a conversation with Shane our service manager that was very unprofessional with him. We are a professional HVAC company and do business with professional landlord - property managers on a regular basic's, Mr. C***** was very unprofessional, and we terminated the relationship.
