I am a 68 yr old retired veteran, I waited for my retirement to buy a car that my wife and I have always wanted since high school 2022 Dodge Challenger , it had 23 miles on it when we bought it, At 4000 miles I took it to Instant valvoline in Middletown, Ohio I have used them before and trusted them, as I was pulling in the bat at their direction everything sounded fine. After they finished And started guiding me out we all heard a very loud bang/crack They told us to stop and they kept saying it was in the back, I assure you , it was in the front, then they had us back out (which seemed suspicious to me) but I did and believed what they said , as it turned out they had somehow put a big Crack in the framework Cross Member which is connected to my steering, which could totally malfunction if left uncorrected and flip the car. I called them and was very polite asking for compensation, they had cameras and he said he would look at them. After calling me back he said he definitely heard the big popping, cracking sound but there was nothing that could have caused it there? My wife and I are seniors and I believe we are being taken advantage of. Our anniversary is next week, 48years of marriage, we had reservations, already paid for and will lose that 2500.00 plus Because of The car repairs, will not be able to go on our anniversary, first one missed in 48 years. My wife's heart is broken and I'm just at a loss for words, after they blantly said this was not their problem and they were not fixing it. Please dont take your car to these people ...
