  I hired **** concrete my sidewalk and driveway last year , I was really happy with his work and the final results, until around the following January/ February I started seeing flaking and chipping on my driveway. I called **** and told him what I had going on and he did respond really quick and said at the time that he he would tear out 2 sections of my driveway and replace it also he gave me a quote on finishing the remainder of my driveway. Since the there's approximately 20 sections of my driveway that's chipping and flaking, some worse than others. But now he's saying that it's either from road salt or from the concrete supplier who's ****** Concrete. And **** isn't going to fix my driveway he's saying that's it's ****** Concrete problem. I disagree I paid Big Z Concrete to do the job, believe he's the one that should fix it . What he has going on with ****** Concrete is between those 2 companies. And now he's not only not going to fix my concrete he's not standing behind his quote to pour the remainder of my driveway.

  As stated by the homeowner we did a great job on his drive way. We let all homeowners know that salt can and will damage concrete & to not use any salt on the concrete. Out of several hundred jobs over the last several years our business has completed this is the only job weve had damage on of any kind let alone of this extent. We have reached out to our concrete supplier and theyre actively looking into the matter and waiting back on test results for the Drive way. As stated in our contracts we are not responsible for damage cause by weather or salt. We have made several visits to the property and offered we warranty out our labor to remove the concrete and reinstall if concrete was paid for by the homeowner while an answer was waited on if the homeowner did not want to wait any longer with the possibility that ****** will still refund them on conclusion of the concrete test. We take pride in each and every project we complete while following the best practices. Our company cannot be held responsible for something we cannot control which is an improper Concrete Mix.

  The proprietor, **** should be a shining example of how to run a small business. He is friendly and reasonably priced. Listening to what I was looking for, which was extremely vague, he worked with me to find the right concrete solution. I liked what he did so much that I had him back for a second job. Throughout both jobs, he communicated well, detailing what he was doing and then explaining what I had to do (or not do) during the curing process. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for concrete work.
