Work was performed on February 7, 2023. The Grout Medic came out to our house to discuss the problems with the bathroom floor tile. The estimator said that they could replace the grout, clean the tile, and refinish the tile and that it would look like new. An estimate was sent, but there was no contract to sign. The work was completed and I called Mr. P**** to let him know our dissatisfaction on February 9th. He said he would come to our house to inspect the week of February 13th, but he has not done so. The contractors evidently ran our of product and some tiles have no finish on them at all. They did not clean tile behind the free standing tub nor did they do any work on that area. Other areas are hazy and stained. They left black sealant on the bathtub, woodwork, and sink which will not come off. They cleaned their buckets in the tub and left a dirty stain (which I was able to get out.). The workers did not offer to show me the bathroom once the work was completed. Nor did they mention that they ran out of product. At the beginning of the day, he said they could not repair/replace the grout in this type floor (as promised). We did not sign a contract with the vendor and we have not paid them. We are now getting estimates on getting the work redone properly. The total cost of the job was $1072. PS, the Grout Medic said they would need to remove previous color seal. Rite Rug says that there was no color seal placed on this tile during installation. I have a large number of the original tiles left over from construction as proof.
