    )n Monday, 11/25/2024 I contracted with College Hunks to haul away a tv. On November 25,2024 I contacted College Hunks and advised that I no longer needed their service. They refused to refund $60.50

    7/8/24 College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving damaged my driveway. I did not hire this company nor did I grant permission to pull in & out of my driveway to back into my neighbors driveway. My driveway was sealed less than 3 weeks ago, the first week we kept it roped off to seal so it had been used less than 2 weeks. College Hunks has marked it up with deep tire tracks from their big moving trucks I want my driveway restored to the condition it was in before they decided use my driveway. If they could not back into the neighbors drive from the road they should have parked in the road. I did not spend $420.00 for my driveway to look good for only a few weeks. I have submitted the issue to College Hunks on their website twice & left several messages with customer service. Last contact with customer service I was told I can not file a complaint for damages because I didn’t hire them. No I didn’t hire nor did I give them permission to use my driveway & damage it. Customer Service (the only phone number provided on College Hunks ******* ** website) will not provide me with a phone number or email or a way to which I can resolve this issue. Have been told they can only relay information & not provide additional information. On day one I was told someone will contact you today, several messages later I am still waiting on them to contact me.

    We had this company load our furniture into a *** storage container. They were supposed to supply 3 men to do the job but one of the 3 was injured and couldn’t do much. I supplied moving blankets to cover things but they did not use them. 3 or 4 of our items were damaged because of this and they insist they are not responsible because the items were put in the ***. If my furniture had been properly loaded this would not have happened. I either want my furniture repaired or at least a full refund.

    We were hired to load a ***. The client was present during the load. We used the protective equipment provided. The customer was advised of the fact that we were only liable for damage that occurred during the loading of his items and acknowledged this in writing before work began. The customer voiced no concerns about the quality of the load after completion of the job. We are not liable for any damage that occurs after the items leave our possession and control.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

     I was not notified in writing about the responsibility of the company for damage. I was also in the house directing what need to be moved and not watching everything that was loaded. They did not use proper loading techniques and while unloading for they had only covered some items with one layer of plastic wrap. Please advise them my next step will be to contact an attorney due to the fact that some of the items damaged are very expensive.

    I paperwork where the client acknowledges that College Hunks has no liability. Since legal action has been threatened, any further communication will have to come from our company attorney.

    The customer has threatened legal action. I spoke with the client this morning to see if a resolution could be reached. I was unsuccessful. At this point it seems to be out of the scope of the better business bureau.
