  We hired Cory **** to do a driveway on July 2023. He quoted us $7800 for the removal and finished project. We gave him $3900 as a deposit to start the job. On july 17th He dug up the drive way with his 2 man crew. In the process he was not supervising his 2 men and they damaged the fence and the elwctrical pole on the house. We made him aware of what happened and even had video evidence. He stated he would get it fix and was ordering concrete and it would be done in 2 days..After that we got excuse after excuses on why he couldn't finish the job or even make the repairs his med caused. Eventually after 4 weeks of him just ghosting us, I took to the internet and went viral and even got channel 19 news involved. The driveway sat undone for 6 weeks with his equipment still there. After the story aired he sent his people to try and retrieve property, he got a wheel barrow back. Finally after having no driveway we hired someone else to finish the job. I found out later that Cory has multiple cases open for scaming people out of money, for not finishing the job. So I am warning people to not go with him and his company. Beware of Cory ***** We will be filing a small claims.

  We had Cory H*** come to our house and give us a quote on pouring a cement slab as a foundation for a shed we were purchasing. He provided the quote as Halaway concrete but he informed us that he was in the process of changing his business name to A-1 Concrete and Waterproofing.
  He came back out to the house prepared the area for the concrete pad, set up the wooden frame and spread gravel limestone as a base. The quote was for $2400.00 for the entire job and he wanted half down after the 3 hour prep job was completed. He promised us that he would order the concrete the following day for pick up in five days which would be a Wednesday and he would then complete the job.
  Wednesday came but Cory H*** did not show up. After calling him he informed us he had a flat tire on his way to pick up the concrete and he would have to reschedule for Friday. Once again on Friday he did not show up nor did he on the following three Wednesdays which he promised. Our shed was finished and was ready for delivery. We contacted another concrete company to finish the job. That contractor had to repair the sloppy work Cory had done and replace the framework. Under the circumstances he only charged me for his labor and we paid his cost for the concrete. We gave Cory $1200.00 for work not done correctly and valued at no more than $400.00.
  We should take him to sm*** claims court but we did not want the hassle until we were watching local television and saw a story on Action 19 News involving Corey and how he ripped these people off in a similar way. We felt bad and thought if we had contacted the BBB maybe these people would not have been scammed like we were. This is why I am writing now. Watch out for Cory H*** and what ever company name he is hiding behind now.
