Insurance does not cover the procedure for a reason. Almost 6 months out from surgery and still have my heel pain. $2000 spent PLUS follow up appointment costs. The shots given before surgery were a type of pain I’ve not experienced except child birth. Dr. Is very friendly that’s why I have it two stars. Otherwise it would have been one star.

Sometimes, due to the chronic nature of the plantar fasciitis in a small percentage of patients a second procedure is required to obtain those results. I understand your hesitation with the pre-procedure injections and want you know we offer other forms of regenerative medicine options to help further the healing process along. Our goal is to alleviate your heel pain for good and even without the repeat of the non-surgical procedure we have options for you to consider. Surgery is never a good option as it alters the structure and function of the foots muscles. I had suffered with heel pain for the last 3 years and had shots, inserts, physical therapy and was still left with surgery for an option. I found Dr. ********* on his website and after reading all the material he presented, I called and made an appointment to discuss the ESWT procedure. After talking to him I was sure that this was the better option than having the surgery my other doctors recommended, which would keep me off work for 6 weeks. I had the ESWT procedure done in his office on a Saturday and was back to work on Tuesday with almost no discomfort. I am so happy I had this done and wish I knew about Dr. ********* 3 years ago. I highly recommend Dr. ********* and the ESWT procedure if you have heel pain. The procedure wasn't covered under my insurance but he accepted **** ******.Mid Ohio Foot And Ankle Specialists
