Called company for quote to fix failed well water system. Day of appointment, I was told it would cost "a couple hundred dollars" for the gentlemen to pull the motor assembly up with their special truck. They pull it up, leave, and we expect a bill in the mail for maybe $200. Nope -- they actually want $600. Complaint

Complainant (agent) requested well and pump evaluation.  Beinhower Bros. provided quote of $250.00 by phone to provide service crew and equipment to evaluate.  Once evaluated by electrical testing equipment and other testing, Beinhower Bros. recommended removing the pump from the well.  The field technician verbally advised agent total cost to proceed with additional work which required using pump crane to remove 200 ft. deep well pump and provide further recommendations would cost approximately $600.00.  Agent advised us to proceed.  Work was performed on 9/28/23.  Invoice and report with recommendations was emailed on 10/3/23.  No further contact from agent.  Rather than call to discuss the work and costs, agent files complaint 5 months later with Better Business Bureau and still has not paid Beinhower Bros. anything.  Beinhower Bros. sent statement numerous times with monthly interest charges.  Beinhower Bros. did not have agent sign the field estimate to do additional work and are willing to accept the initial quote of $250.00 as payment in full.
