December of 2023 - March of 2024 The company sent incompetent handymen not supervised by a manager who damaged the tiles on new floor and new countertop by using their machines in the kitchen. On top of this, the person who they sent to do the floor didn't uproot the old one and just laid the floor in top of the old one. We didn't know this was a problem at the time as we are totally new to this, however because they did this the transition strips were not fitting correctly and when I was trying to have that issue rectified every person I spoke to who is in construction with appalled that they did not remove the floor before they put the new one in. They finally sent out the manager to observe the problem after I took pictures and made numerous complaints. He told me that they would pay for the damages done to the countertop and fix the flooring. When I was following up on this I was informed (on 3/29): "Hi, I have received your email. I'm communicating with the previous owner that owned this location prior to January 1st. He is responsible for redoing your flooring. I'm trying to find out if he wants us to go ahead and do it and reimburse us or if he has someone else to handle it. I have reached out to him again to see what needs to be done and as soon as I resolve it with him I will get back to you. We have not forgotten about you, I apologize for the delay." Then (4/8): "Hello, I've spoken with the previous owner. He wants to credit you the $785 you paid for the flooring against what is currently owed for the backsplash. His assets are currently frozen and he is unable to refund it directly to you but we are trying to work out a payment plan with him once he gets his finances get resolved. The backsplash was done after he sold Handyman Connection to the new owners so the amount for the backsplash is due to the new owners. I expressed all of your concerns regarding this job and that was what was communicated to me." I have received no money or contact
