      I hired this company to come out and clean the ductwork of a newly purchased home. Man showed up in a white van. No company logo. No company attire. I advised him that the duct work cleaning I was expecting was of a higher quality as the truck would be different. After I paid for the service, I went around my home and noticed several areas with a lot of dust a debris left behind. There were vent covers laying on the floor and not put back in their spots. We did not know this until the next day but, the technician turned off our furnace while he was there. He did not mention this to us. The technician left and never turned the furnace back on. Our house got down to an internal temp of 32 degrees. This created issues in the home. Several dead houseplants and the temp contributed to broken water pipes at the property. In additional to all of this the charge on my card is for an Oliver R*** and not the company I called and hired. I did contact the office days later. All delay in my contact with the office is due to my family having to move items from the home (we were not living in as of yet), hiring plumbers and mitigation companies, and dealing with the mess left behind by A-1 Restoration. When I contacted the office, I was only advised that they are not responsible but yes, the tech should have advised he turned the heat off and turned it back on. With all the issues we now have to tend to we have also had several sections of drywall cut away and removed and areas of flooring removed so the sub floor can be dried out. This alone has caused an enormous amount of dust which is back in the duct work we attempted to have cleaned. This company had no regard for what happened. Did not want to attempt to make it right and when I told the receptionist/office person that I would be calling my bank to dispute the charges she said if I did dispute the charges, they would file a lien on our home. This is poor business practice from start to finish.
