On 4/2/2024 I called this business to have a toilet unclogged. The technician came to my house and gave me a estimate to fix the problem. The amount was 281.25. I told him I thought it was too high of a price. He stated he doesn't set the prices the company does. I stated that I already had some one else quote me a cheaper price. He said I'll tell you what if I can't unclog it with the device I have I wont charge sometimes there is more involved. I said ok. He went to the van brought in the device and unclogged the toilet in less than 2 minutes. He said that will be 281.25 .I felt that I was overcharged for the time of labor that was preformed. I immediately called the business to voice my concerns. I was told a manager would contact me. After waiting several hours I was not contacted. I called the business again and after waiting for 15 mins on hold I spoke with a manager. His name was Jake. I told him of my complaint that I felt I was overcharged for my service and that I was quoted have that price from another company. He stated we are not the highest or lowest price in the area the industry average is 210 dollars . I stated that you still charged me over the average and he stated that's because we do a better job than anyone else. I stated to **** that I would like to settle the matter with the company with out having to call the bbb or others. He said I'm sorry that's our price, and then he said how old are you sir ? I stated I'm 65 He stated that it looks like we didn't give you a senior discount I'll get you a check out for 28.21 .I stated to him that wasn't going to do much to make up for being overcharged he said I'll send it anyway. So far I haven't seen a check from the company and still feel like I was charged 71 .25 more than the average that **** had told me . I'm asking to receive the 71.25 plus the 28.21 I was told I would receive. Also I was never given a receipt or any paperwork from the company. I paid the employee by check .

Hi ***** - We apologize you felt you were overcharged for the services provided, however, that is why we did not charge a service fee to come out and always provide the estimate for the work up front with no obligation to move forward. We strive to provide our customers the best service and to do that we must have the best technicians and to keep the best technicians we must charge a fair rate. As far as the 10% discount, we have sent out the check on 4/2. If you still have not received that check, please call our office and we will happily send that check out to you.

    Thank you.

I was not given a receipt or any paperwork description for services that were provided.

We take these complaints very seriously. After looking into it with our team, here is the information we found regarding this job.

On 6/7/23 we were called out because another company had installed a walk-in tub that the customer purchased herself. She was not happy with the original company's work so she hired us. We wrote an estimate and completed the work for the estimated price.

On 6/8/23 we went back out to this customer's house and found that the tub was leaking in multiple places. We did not charge her for this trip but advised her to work with the company who she bought the tub from to get a warranty replacement. While we were out there she screamed at our technicians because the problem wasn't solved even though we repaired the parts that she had. When our technician tried to walk away she grabbed our technician by the arm and wouldn't let him leave. Our technician was eventually able to calm her down and talked to her about some of the other issues. With customer-supplied materials we can warranty our workmanship but not defective materials that they purchased themselves

On 6/12/23 we wrote her an estimate to actually rip out the old defective tub she had purchased and replace it with a new one so that all of the issues would be completely resolved. She declined this estimate. We did not charge for any of the time to build this estimate.

On 7/24/23 we returned to install the parts that the customer received, but the customer didn't actually get all of the parts that they needed. We did install the parts that were provided. Since this defective part came from the manufacturer and the customer provided the materials, we were not able to install the new part under our labor warranty. With that being said, we only charged $200 for this work even though we were there for almost a full day. We did this because we were trying to work with the customer and understood the unfortunate financial situation she was in.

We returned again on 8/2/23 for no charge but the customer still was not satisfied. She screamed at the technician who was there and when he left because the situation was uncomfortable, she followed him out to the truck and started hitting his window.

The wall repair inside the closet was not part of the original scope of work as seen in the attached estimate. We are happy to do this type of work as long but we have to charge for our time. We have 27 recorded phone conversations with this customer since the original call in June where we tried to explain the situation to her and what we could do to fix it but ultimately we were not able to satisfy her.

We try to be reasonable with all of our customers but this customer unfortunately was not reasonable.

THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY COMPLAINT ton around June 23 my husband contacted All drain to come fix our clogged pipes. That was a Friday they come on Monday. It was two young men they said it was guaranteed to be fixed I paid them over 500 dollars they didn't fix it! They left an went to Lowes was gone for a hour I had to pay for that, on the 28th my brother come to look under my house because they didn't fix nothing to top it all over they TAPED MY PIPES back together! I called an the owner was so rude tried to tell me we wasn't under warranty which we was so I sent the pictures i took of my pipes they sent a man on the 28 to look at it he just retaped it said he doesn't have the tools with him someone would be out on Monday to fix it right they only put whatever was really supposed to put on the pipe witch they cut for no reason it pops apart. The guy told me it was the trailer park responsibility it was in there part I contacted the trailer park they looked at told us it's under the trailer witch is our responsibility because I own it . I told them they still have did nothing It is still clogged I don't have money to pay someone else . First we want to apologize for you frustration as we never want our customers to feel this way. I do, however, want to go over the complaint here. First with regards to the customer having to pay for our time at Lowes, When looking at the bill we charged we did NOT charge for our time at Lowes. Our Technician was on the job for 5 hours and 7 minutes. On the bill the labor charge was for only 2 hours. The reason the pipes were taped was to bandaid the issue until we could get back out there to properly band the pipes back together which was completed the first week of July for no cost to the customer. As for the line still being clogged, we were able to open half the line, however, the other half was much more difficult. Being that the responsibility of the problem could lie with the customer or the park we need to be sure who is responsible for what before continuing.

We are currently speaking with the mobile home park to see how we can resolve the clogging issue and we will solve the issue of the clogged line at not cost to the customer. I apologize again for the frustration, but we WILL solve the problem for you at no additional cost to you. Thank you.
