    I purchased 3x of the stop watt energy savers and after reading reviews I realized this could be a scam. I immediately emailed stop watt and asked to cancel my order. I did not get a response from Stopwatt and they sent the product anyways. After the product arrived I decided to go ahead and see if it works. I am able to observe my energy consumption daily via an app from my electric company and it has not influenced or reduced my electric consumption. This product is a scam and should be taken off the market as the business is advertising false promises on a product that does absolutely nothing. It a box with a light on it.

        We regret any confusion that may have taken place when Mr. ***** reached out to the customer service team to return our product. When our product is not working for a customer, regardless of the reason, our customer service team is trained to immediately offer a refund or replacement. We regret that Mr. ***** did not receive our correspondence to the email he sent as we feel this would have resolved all concerns to his complete satisfaction.

        Upon receiving this complaint from your office, we immediately located the account to refund the payment. When attempting to process a full refund to Mr. *****'s card today we were alerted by the bank that he had disputed the charge and it was already credited to him in full.

        The account has been closed, no additional activity will take place, and Mr. ***** can keep any product that he has.

    Although I appreciate a response from Stopwatt, it doesn't change the fact that this company is taking advantage of the consumer by giving a false perception of what their product does. This product does not do what they claim it does by saving the consumer money by reducing wasted electrical consumption and they should be investigated further. Also they are using Elon Musk in their advertisements as a promoter but in fact Mr. Musk does not endorse this company. False advertising

    I bought a Stop Watt energy saver online on 05/20/2023 and about 30 minutes later I decided to cancel my order, but they told me it had already shipped, so I said I would like my money back and they told me a couple of options I had, but I didn't like any of them. I used my debit card and the $63.85 was taken out of my account almost immediately. I sent approx. 4 more emails and said ok, I will go with option #1 which is return the Stop Watt and receive a 100% refund, but it would take 25-30 days. So my problem is that they will not answer my emails so that I can get an address where to send it back and a RMA #. It's pretty frustrating when something like this happens, all I want to do is return the product and get my refund.

    I placed order. Cancelled it next morning!! No answer back and have reached out to them 5 times. Item hasn't shipped and want to cancel and have my refund.

    We are responding to an “unanswered complaint” letter concerning our customer, ******* ********. After reviewing the customer order, we found that the customer emailed a customer service representative on 04/21/2023 when the order was cancelled and refunded.  The customer was informed there would be no further charges and she could keep any product she received. We apologize for any confusion and as we were unaware of this unanswered complaint. 

        We take both customer satisfaction and our rating with the BBB very seriously. We hope this resolves any issues and would ask the BBB to consider our rating prior to this missed complaint.

    Purchased item called "stop watt", they advertised it would save your electric bill monthly to a high degree. Instructions were to simply plug device into an electrical outlet in the house and it would do the rest. I watched my electric bill/invoice over a two month period for the savings, there was not any savings, reduction in electric cost. The device is a phony, non functional device as advertised. I emailed company 3 times, no response, I mailed them letter dated 10/01/2022, no response. I consider this to be a fraud company operating from address "7652 sawmill rd., suite 213, Dublin, oh, 43016.
