    Curbside Taxi creates accounts for their customers, and they have a clause where they state that after a customer's initial taxi service, they automatically get billed $9.99 a month on their credit or debit card. I did not realize that I would be billed monthly, and I had tried to call Curbside via their toll free number, and was not able to get through to anyone to assist me in cancelling future charges. I have left several voicemails, with the expectation that someone would call me back, but no one had contacted me back. I need to have this issue resolved.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    I was actually able to get a hold of Curbside Taxi on Facebook, and they replied saying that they would take care of the matter for me.  So the issue has been resolved.

    Consumer’s Duplicate Complaint:
    I had used the services of Curbisde Taxi a while back, and was not aware that they had created an account whereas I would be billed monthly a charge of $9.99 on my credit card for their service. I tried to call the toll free number, and no agent took the call. I had to contact someone on their Facebook page, and on January 6th, had asked them to cancel my account, and the agent told me "No problem. I will be sure to get that canceled for you." The issue was not resolved, as on Jan. 29th, there was another charge of $9.99 on my credit card. I need to have Curbisde Taxi cancel my account, and be reimburse the $9.99 to my credit card.

    OVERVIEW:
    I used Curbside Taxi two years ago for a trip from my home in Dayton OH to CVG airport (one way). Since that time, Curbside has continued to charge my credit card $2 per month and then $9.99 per month every month since. At no time when I reserved the taxi service was there any mention of a "membership charge" via their phone discussion, email, or their website.

    RESOLUTION ATTEMPTS:
    * I've tried calling the company phone number (800-763-0791) multiple times but no one answers.
    * I've requested my credit card company (AMEX) to dispute the charge and they have refunded the charges every time - now totaling approx. $100.
    * I cannot find any other way of contacting their organization.

    Hello and thanks for your help

    As of today, I have not had any charges placed by Curbside Taxi since January of this year.  There has been no communication or notification from them to suggest a change.

    Curbside had charged my credit card every month so it's a good sign that something positive has happened.  But I'm unsure this issue is fully resolved.
