    DOS, Date of Service, 10.20.2022, Greater Dayton insisted that the deductible portion still owed be paid to them before the surgery could take place. Therefore, I paid $1,544.??, the morning of the surgery. On 1.19.2023, @ 4:07pm clld & spoke to ******, who said it was already paid, insur pd 100%, & I should be getting a refund. However, she wanted to rev & call me back. She never did. On 1.13.2023 @ 1:15pm clld & spoke to ****** who adv claim was not processing. Will take 1 to 2 months for get refund. On same day, @ 1:25pm I clld insurance & spoke to *****, who said claim was never submitted to insurance for processing. Therefore ***** clld Greater Dayton & was advised by ******* that the claim was just submitted 2 days ago. On 1.30.2023, I clld insurance & spoke to ***** who confirmed claim from Greater Dayton has not been submitted. On 2.21.2023 @ 11:48am clld Greater Dayton & spoke to ******* & advised that claim was processed on 2.14.2023, but denied for allowed amount not matching & insur still to processs. I then clld insurance, spoke to ******** who advised claim was processed on 2.14.2023, showing $316.33 was applied to my co-insurance & insurance paid the rest, making the deductable met. On 3.15.2023, @ 3:27pm clld Greater Dayton spoke w/******* who advised on 3.3.2023, the refund was requested & should take up to 30 days to process. On 3.31.2023, @ 3:43pm clld Greater Dayton spoke w/****** who advised will take another 1 or 2 weeks. On 4.4.2023, @ 10:47am clld spoke to ****** requested a Manager. Spoke to **** who advised he would expited the refund and it should be cut within 7 days. **** confirmed they record all calls. On 4.10.2023, @ 1pm clld spoke to ****** & asked for John, said he was not available & I left a message with her to have **** call me back, but ****** never asked my name or number and just hung up on me. On 4.12.2023, @ 12:45pm clld Greater Dayton, **** *****, Exetive Director message wanted my refund, no reply.

    After looking into this complaint, I see a refund was issued to the patient on 4-21-23 for $1228.02, ch #*****.   This is the difference between what was paid by the patient and what the patient owed.
