      The Lennox heat pump system we used for 34 years was not broken but was ready to be replaced. We chose Wm Brockman and Sons because they were very responsive to our requests, very clear and open about the warranty, the pricing, the IRS tax credit eligibility, and the future of refrigerants that are being used in heat pumps. No other company that we invited to give us estimates came close to giving us all the facts.
      Their proposal was the most economical and included simple basic equipment which is what we wanted. It was similar to the units we used for the past 34 years, only updated to be more efficient and quiet. They were the only company that offered us a cash discount and it was very generous at 5%.
      The installers did an excellent job and left our home and property clean and neat. The new units are working perfectly and we were just in time for the current heat wave. The installers explained how to use the new controls and helped us put the app on our phone. It was a great experience.

      I am on the service plan with Brockman & Sons and have been very satisfied until my recent interaction with a tech named Joe. Joe has been to the house twice this week to service the furnace and to make a small repair to the humidifier. After Joe's first visit, my wife and I spoke, and both felt as though Joe was rude and arrogant. Everybody has a bad day. Joe just left for the second time this week and he was rude and arrogant again. I will continue to use the Brockman & Sons installed furnace and services plan, but Joe will no longer be permitted in our home.
      I would give Brockman & Sons a 5-star rating but due to Joe and his attitude, I am only giving them a 3 star, the difference between a 1 and a 5.

      I've had excellent service from Wm Brockman and Sons since 2010. They kept my older system working while it was more economical to do so. In 2018 both they and I decided it was more economical to replace; George Brockman and I worked together to select the best, balanced system for our house at a very reasonable cost. They did a fine, complex installation in only 1.5 days and have maintained it well with semiannual inspections and maintenance, with small adjustments at no extra cost, under the maintenance contract. So far, they've treated us absolutely first-class. (No, I don't have any personal or financial interest in their company. I'm just a customer who they've treated well and at a good price.)
