    We hired this company to rebuild our back porch deck, as the underlying wooden structure was rotten. The contract was to remove the high quality synthetic top deck boards, rebuild the substructure, then replace the top boards in the same location where they came from. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The contract and 1/3 downpayment was made in April 2023 but the job was not started until July 10. There was little communication along the way despite our repeated requests as to when the job would start. Though supposed to start early, each workday but the last began after 12 noon. Top boards were removed and substructure was rebuilt but we had serious concerns about the shortcuts made. For example, some rotten boards were not going to be removed as they said, "two sides of the board are still good" until we insisted on it. There were two occasions when we asked them to remove rotten boards after those boards had already been covered with new boards and one occasion where automobile Bondo was even used to fill a rotten area of the wood! They appeared to have a lot of trouble putting the top boards back on, and in an effort to finish the job before the owner's Friday's wedding, they worked until 10:30 pm on Thursday evening. The job still wasn't finished so they showed up the next morning at 8 am. The worker said he only had an hour of sleep and he put the top boards on without using a proper spacer. Consequently, the space between the boards varied from about 1/16" to 1/4". Very unattractive and unacceptable. He wanted to come back over the weekend, but we weren't going to be home, so we asked them to return on Monday. After long discussions over the weekend, my spouse and I decided to fire the company and finish the work ourselves, We paid them in full so the owner offered to come over the following weekend to help us finish, but we felt we could not trust the work. We were very disappointed in the quality of work from this company.
