We ***** ***** - home owner and Santino B******* and Dylan H***** of Endless Home Improvements, LLC) entered into a contract on Feb 6, 2023. The contract price was $17,800 for painting walls, ceilings, vanities, etc.; flooring for the entire house (approx 2000 sq ft), new electrical outlets and switches, 11 new lights to be installed, cabinet lighting to be installed, new thermostat to be installed, new kitchen appliances to be installed, a backsplash to be installed, a new rear door to be installed, new interior doors to be painted and installed, etc. The full contract can be found in the supporting documents. I paid half of the total contracted amount upon signing the contract on Feb 6, 2023. I also provided a $1500 draw on March 1, 2023 to them when asked. So I have paid them 10,400 dollars. They managed to get most of the demolition complete (though there are plenty of old doors, trim, old tile and subfloor in the kitchen to be removed and disposed of); some rooms/ceilings painted with very poor painting while getting paint all over my personal belongings since they weren't covered, some new trim and doors painted (though they cracked a new interior door, didn't remove stickers before painting the doors, and the trim has been stepped on and had paint and drywall mud dropped on it); some drywall repairs done though most were not sanded before being painted; 11 lights were installed (though the chandalier in the foyer fell out of the ceiling due to improper anchors being used and is now hanging only by the electrical wires). The latter was the final straw as they failed to get that repaired after promising me they would due to the hazard it presented. Even today, 4/3, it has not been addressed. Nearly all the work was performed by subcontractors, many of whom didn't have the slightest clue what they were doing. The attached pictures show the current state of my house and the contractors are saying they're out of money (the 10.4k given to them) and can't finish.
