    My family had a vacation scheduled in June. We have two well behaved dogs that needed boarding. Our regular boarder was booked, so we had to find somewhere new. I researched some local boarders and decided to try Top Dog Daycare based on information that I read on their website. I completed all the forms, provided immunization records and scheduled the required 6 hour ************ that tests the dogs behavior with other dogs being boarded there. My dogs passed their test so I scheduled the boarding. I dropped them off the evening before we were scheduled to get up 4:30am for an 8 hour flight. Later that night I was called to pick up my dogs because one wasn't cooperating. I had been watching the dogs on their website camara and had honestly witnessed nothing but good behavior. I drove to their facility to discuss what the problem was. Although very friendly, the employee working didn't have a specific answer, just that the dog was being difficult. I asked some questions and found that the employee wasn't trained with dogs. I explained that they were probably nervous to have left a new place. Ultimately I ended taking the dogs home. My husband and children flew to our vacation the next day and I had to stay home to find somewhere else to board them. I ultimately lost two full days of our vacation. I am very disappointed with this experience and honestly still shocked that it happened. We have never had one issue with our dogs and they are trained. I emailed the owner to discuss and never received a response.
