    I took my car here to have a rear wheel bearing changed. Before taking my car in, I had it looked at by a family friend who is a former certified master technician working on race cars and foreign cars. The only reason this friend could not fix it himself was due to not having a lift available in the time I needed it fixed. I knew exactly what needed fixed and how much it would cost.
    Upon dropping my car off, I was not given a formal written estimate and I did not sign anything. When I checked in with the mechanics later in the day, **** informed me that the front wheel bearing was the one that needed replaced, and it would cost significantly more than the rear. I was quoted over $200 for the front bearing, and by the time that **** was done mumbling into the phone, the total estimate had risen to over $800 for parts and labor. I knew this was not right, so my family friend went in to talk to them before they started working on the car. He found that they were up charging 300% for parts and 100% for labor. When this was addressed, none of the mechanics had a reasonable explanation for my friend. He stated every part of the process of replacing the bearing and exactly how much time it would take, and none of the mechanics could explain or justify how they reached their $800 quote. They then quoted him $125 to put my wheel back on and have my car returned to me, even though inspections are free, I was never given a formal written estimate for this, and I signed nothing.
    Instead of calling the attorney general and bringing the sheriff with me to retrieve my car, they let me take it without the $125 fee they quoted to put the wheel back on. If you are a woman or don’t know much about cars, please be wary of going here and get a second opinion. They are charging absurd amounts of money for work that does not need done. They will absolutely prey on people who are not extremely informed on the process of fixing or replacing parts specific to their car.
