Direct Collision Center stands behind the work performed by our facility because we want you to be a loyal customer.


Direct Collision Center offers a Lifetime Warranty: Our body & paint repair facilities back all collision repairs with a written warranty. Any defects in workmanship will be corrected free of charge unless caused by unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle. To obtain service under this warranty, return the vehicle with your original repair receipt to the original repair center.


If at anytime, you have a concern or question regarding the work performed on your vehicle, please contact the Direct Collision Center location that performed the repairs for further assistance.


 


DIRECT COLLISION CENTER LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY


DIRECT COLLISION CENTER ("DIRECT") hereby provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty on repairs performed by DIRECT. This Lifetime Limited Warranty is valid only for as long as you own the vehicle described below and is solely for the person to whom this Lifetime Limited Warranty is granted and whose name appears herein and on the original work order. This agreement covers workmanship only, unless noted otherwise herein.


Metalwork: DIRECT provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty, from effective date stated herein, on all metalwork (to include welding and the materials utilized in making collision repairs) against cracking, flaking, or deterioration, excluding rust repairs. DIRECT will repair and repaint, excluding rust repairs, any defective metalwork warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made within warranted period, unless caused by or damaged resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, or unreasonable maintenance/care of the vehicle.


Painting: DIRECT provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty, from effective date stated herein, on painting-related priming and painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation. DIRECT will re-prime, repaint, re-stripe, or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby (excluding rust repair), at its sole option, when claim is made within warranted period, unless caused by or damaged resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, or unreasonable maintenance/care of the vehicle. This paint warranty is valid only over original factory finishes that are free of defect.


Mechanical Repairs: DIRECT provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty, from effective date stated herein, on all mechanical repairs pertaining directly to original collision damage, excluding suspension, air conditioning, or other electrical assemblies or components. DIRECT will repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made within warranted period, unless caused by or damaged resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, or unreasonable maintenance/care of the vehicle.


Parts: DIRECT provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty, from effective date stated herein, unless manufacturer warranty is less, on New OEM parts installed by or at DIRECT, excluding suspension, air conditioning, or other electrical components. (Please Note: DIRECT warranty does not exceed Manufacturer warranty.) DIRECT will repair or replace any defective part warranted hereby, at its sole option, when claim is made within warranted period, unless caused by or damaged resulting from accident, abuse, misuse or unreasonable maintenance/care of the parts and/or vehicle.


The Lifetime Limited Warranty stipulations noted herein are made a part hereof and fully incorporated herein. This Lifetime Limited Warranty shall be null and void if warranted repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with by any person not authorized by DIRECT. This warranty is not transferrable.


Specifically Excluded:


Incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies and components which are not specifically covered by this Lifetime Limited Warranty, nor are consequential damages, such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair.


Rust, including surface rust, rust-through, and/or damage caused by rusting of interior or exterior panels is not covered.


This agreement is all-inclusive and sets forth any and all warranties made by DIRECT regarding workmanship and contains the only promises for which it will be responsible.


Claim Process: In order to obtain the benefits of this warranty, the owner of the vehicle must do all of the following:


Present the owner's copy of this warranty to the General Manager of DIRECT before requesting warrantable repairs or parts. The vehicle will be scheduled and the repairs will be completed in a timely fashion. The original payee will be obligated for supplementary costs to repair items not covered by this Lifetime Limited Warranty. 


Must have a copy of the itemized final bill to verify repairs covered by this warranty.


Have any warrantable repair, adjustment, or inspection made at the premises of DIRECT(where covered services provided) during normal business hours.


Except for the express limited warranties contained herein and where prohibited by law, DIRECT disclaims any and all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability" . . .
