    This is regards to Flamingo Airs FAA Dispatcher course. Due to COVID my in-person classes were postponed. I checked in with them on Jan 2019 about moving the class. I received a repone stating if I completed the distance learning by the expiration date we could postpone my in-person class as long as necessary. That was 2/5/2019 and when I went back a few years later to get this restarted I was told I would have to pay for the complete class again. The email states I could postpone as long as necessary but , that was not honored.     The gentleman in question requested postponement to his classes in 2019 due to the Covid crisis. He was in fact told that we could grant postponement for as long as necessary to meet the crisis. That was 2019. The crisis passed by 2021. Years have passed with no contact until 2024. Long after the shutdowns were removed. According to FAA regulations, after 3 years all records must be destroyed no matter if the student has completed the class or not. If a student has not completed the classes within that time frame they are considered a "No Show" and must retake the entire class. 

    Additionally, Mr. ******* signed documents which clearly state, is large red letters, " there will be no refunds for any reason."

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

    i accept this won’t go anywhere.  The email from them said it could be extended as long needed. Didn’t clarify only to after pandemic and some would dispute that 2021 number as I just had it again last month and have some lingering ailments. They didn’t even try to work with me and give me any credit towards starting over.  Not a lot of empathy at all. I consider this issue closed.

    I reserved a sight seeing tour for July the 5 and it was canceled due to weather. Reschedule for the 6th and canceled due to weather. I do not live near by 7 hours away and they will not refund the cost of the tour

    The flight was in fact canceled due to weather. The regulations are very clear on this. Not only would it be irresponsible but also illegal for us to fly passengers in unsafe conditions.  

    Our terms and agreements are clearly stated on our website and the client agrees to those terms before the order can be Submitted. This includes several notices concerning flight cancellations.

    We are within our rights not to offer a refund. We are considering the request and will contact the Passengers of what options we will offer.
