I placed an online order for delivery. The payment came out on the 2nd, and today I have new charges pending. After a lengthy chat with Kroger, they offered to do nothing to rectify the issue, other than asking me to contest the charges with the bank. I will be canceling my membership and NEVER using them again.

I visited the Kroger at ******************************************************************* on 7/2/2025 to purchase a **** gift card. What should have been a quick and routine transaction turned into a deeply frustrating and intrusive experience. The cashier began asking personal questions: Who is this gift card for? and Why are you giving it to them? After I answered, they went even further and asked, How did you meet this person? I told them plainly that these questions were inappropriate and irrelevant. I also pointed out that they had no way to verify any answer, so asking was pointless and an invasion of privacy. There is no law requiring customers to share this kind of personal information to purchase a gift card. When I asked to speak with a manager, an assistant manager named ******* came out. Instead of resolving the issue, he said this was store policy, and if I refused to answer their questions, he would refuse to sell me the card. I then asked for the store manager, and he responded that the manager was on vacation and would not be called for something like ******* that point, I told them I refused to answer questions that breach my privacy. I still assume I live in a country where my personal life isnt up for interrogation during a basic retail transaction.I understand the importance of fraud prevention, but this policy is overreaching and poorly executed. Treating a paying customer like a suspect, demanding personal details that cant even be verified, and then refusing the sale when I respectfully declined to answer? Thats not fraud preventionits bad customer service.

Today was the day that I called it quits with Kroger on ****** and ********. We have been shopping with Kroger since they opened. Within the last year it has gone downhill severely. I spend anywhere from $200 to $400 when shopping and today there were NO CHECKERS available except in the self-check. The self-check was backed up with people with full baskets of groceries. This is so wrong in so many ways, one of our main objectives for shopping there was the gas points we receive which help tremendously. It's just not worth it anymore. *** is across the street. They now have a new customer.

Store in ****** ****e, CA was very clean and well stocked. Signs above isle entrances were very helpful and clear. Cashier by name of ***** went out of her way to explain a sale to save me money. She was very pleasant. The store on Magnolia is under renovation but it is of no concern to shoppers. Great experience...

Lies, false advertising, and theft is what you'll receive when shopping at Kroger!!! I'm not really sure how they don't have a class action lawsuit against them for false advertisement because they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee but yet they don't honor it. I recently used Clicklist and got a total when I place the order. I placed the order for same day so there was no coupon change, price change, and there were no substitutions required, meaning nothing in the order change from the time I placed it to the time I picked it up. They don't provide a receipt upon pick up anymore so there's no real way to know that they charged you way more than the amount on the original order. Now they can go on and tell you it's just an estimate which is fine if anything at all had changed on this order but it had not so there's no reason they should charge me $20 more for the same items. When I tried to request help with this they refused a refund and kept my money and offered me an in-store credit where they got to profit from stealing from me. So 100% satisfaction guaranteed is not incredible false advertising. This company is run by a bunch of thugs and criminals!!! Unfortunately, this is not even the first time this has happened but it definitely will be the last because I'm done shopping at Kroger. Any company that steals from you doesn't deserve your business!

I ordered groceries from Frys yesterday and had them delivered. I ordered the usual items for my family. I made some sandwiches for my boys. My son says he thinks his bread has mold AND sure enough .... it did. This is food I feed to my family. Contacted frys and was issued a refund and that's it. Im not sure if who I contacted was a person or a bot. I wasn't looking for money but an apology and some reasurances that this will not happen again .... something from Frys indicating they made a mistake. The watermelon was also inedible. This experience has definitely blown any trust I had with the store. Shop with caution at the Fry's Grocery store in **** **

I preferred to shop at the Mt DeChantal Kroger but lately it has just gone down hill. From expired products to wrong tags on the shelf, this store has just continued to disappoint. I recently bought another product that was somehow covered in mold and expired without noticing until I got to work. ** the awful Uscan worker has the worst attitude and acted as if every ask of him was as if he had to walk across hot coals. He should probably be more back of house than customer facing with his bitter face. The restrooms consistently have a profuse Oder and I'd rather support small businesses than try to talk to someone behind the meat counter again. Do yourself a favor and shop literal anywhere else.. I think I get better service from the 7/11.

Since the pandemic started, Ralph's has raised the price of their products, some to unreasonable amounts. For example, ** tampons are $11.99, $4 more than anywhere else. Food quality is poor...most of the fruits are rotting in place...they just freeze them then bring them back out... After my last ridiculous experience with them/their staff today, will not be shopping at any of their stores anymore...better to support local business anyway. Shame on you, Ralphs. DO BETTER...

I went to buy a pizza on sale at Kroger's and once again they refused to honor their sale price. This is an ongoing practice for their sale itemsand I have finally decided I am done with Kroger's.
They used to take advantage of my elderly parents who were not digitally savvy by not giving them digital coupon coupons.

Kroger uses false advertising to lure customers into their store. They rarely honor the price advertised and then act like you are the problem. The store uses digital coupons that rarely work and require standing in line at customer service to honor their prices posted. I have had numerous problems over the years with this store overcharging on items.
