      My son was charged 1400.00 dollars for an alternator for my 2009 BMW X5. We were charged 204 for labor 50 for shop supply and 101.30 for tax. That comes to 355.30. Which means we were charged 1044.70 for the alternator. How???

      On 2/15/2024 my son went into Car-X. I wish I could give a star less than 1. My name is Mrs. ****** *******. I purchased 4 tires from Car X for my son's Cadillac. He is hours away at college and my husband and I wanted to make sure he is driving a safe vehicle. I thought I was being safe getting tires from a well know dealer. But I was so wrong! One of the tires keeps losing air. My husband informed my son to just take the car back to Car X because the tires are still under warranty. My son had a break in between classes and took his vehicle to Car X. My son spoke with the manager Nick and a repairman named Craig. He asked if they could patch his tire? They informed my son that they had no record of him buying tires from them. My son then called me ( his Mother). While I was on the phone, my son then went to the car and produced receipts for the purchase. They then informed him that the tire had a "ring of death", and he would have to pay for an entire new tire. They refused to patch the tire. I asked if they could just change that tire to the spare tire. Nick then said he would charge my son $65.00 to change to the spare. I informed my son to get air in that tire and go to the nearest auto place to get that tire changed. My son then went to ***** **** where they changed it for FREE! FOR FREE! I asked the man at ***** what was a "ring of death ". He informed me that is a dangerous tire that could blow at any time. After hearing that I called back to Car X absolutely livid. Craig answered the phone and I asked to speak to the manager. Nick came on the line and I'm positive he heard the pain in my voice. I told him my son is hours away in college and I pray every night for his safety. It was appalling and irresponsible for them to send away an obviously young man, that had proof of purchasing 4 tires from their business. Sent him away on dangerous tires that should not be driven on. I was crying and yelling. Nick started screaming at me then hung up on me.

      **** *****************************, *********, ** ***** I knew my son had to get back to class so I asked them to change the tire since it was in such bad shape. I thought we can put his spare on and resolve the issue later. My son then left and went to ***'s auto department, where he was treated well. I then called **** (see complaint). He hung up on me and then had the nerve to call my husband and told him he didn't change the tire because it would have taken him 3 hours, because the spare tire may get stuck under the car.

      I work 3rd shift and trying to do business with this company and location is very difficult but necessary. I've taken my vehicle to this business three times. They don't get good parts in order to fix the problem. Please get it right !

      Second time trying to do business again with them. Went online requested an appointment boom got absolutely nothing. Next day I called them, I'm being told in a very rude tone that they have been having issue with appointment requests online not coming through. Would not at all be of any help this is on a Saturday now. Told me to go elsewhere. Why would I even consider ever doing business ever again with these people. Shut the shop down always busy never accommodating rude as ever. Don't spend your hard earned money with awful service they give upfront and mind you they haven't even seen your vehicle yet.

      Car x ********************************************************************* Lead tech did damage to my car in lot. Kicked door 2 times and disconnected hoses under hood. Called me a n***** and assaulted me in the lot. The tech was **********************************
