I ordered and paid for an ad to be placed on bar glasses to help market my business. The promise was to design a proof to be apporved, the company didn't have enough graphic designers, five or six attempts to contact and correct original proof, over 6 weeks time with me correcting their attempts several times, and ended up providing the actual design becasue they simply couldn't get it correct. They were will be placing 72 glasses at ****** **** and the cost is $275 for the year. The spots were supposed to be exclusive and we would have first right of renewal next year. The agreement states; estimates 45-60 days for delivery. These should have been at the bar no later than May 30th according to their agreement, it's been 157 days. I have repeatly asked when they will be delievered and I have only receieved excuses and now no response from sales rep., Nicole B****. Attached are all emails between me and the sales rep. and the graphic designers at Community Dev., proof copies and corrections. I wanted these in the bar for the summer to be the most effective for my business and potentional customers. Summer is almost over in the lakes area and I want a refund and to keep my business name associated with this complaint MUST stay annonymous. I don't want to receieve any negativity associated with this complaint. Thank you, ******Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.I have been in contact with your sales rep. Nicole B**** several times via phone and email as far back as April. All of that correspondence was previously attached with the complaint, without a resolution or refund.
The glasses were not delivered to the bar, but instead to the owners house, July 11th and as of 2:42 cst, today, according to Nicole, the owner promised to get them there Friday 8/30. Also in is an offer to place my ad on another establishment once a spot opens up. With current businesses having right of first refusal to ad space this could take years. I prefer to speak to someone other than Nicole to get this resolved. Please let me know who and when a phone call is possible.

Again, all of our Sales Reps are independent contractors. As soon as we learned of the problem, we stepped in. The bar said the glasses are now in use in the restaurant. If you have any more questions, please call. Your company will get the year in the restaurant from this date.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.I had no way of knowing Nicole was an independent contractor or why that actual matters, the agreement was with your company. The problems steamed from your company not having enough staff, farming out the work and significantly delaying my advertisment in getting out to the public. For optimal results they glasses would have been in the bar ALL summer, not when summer was over. This is a vacation community and 95% of the potential customer that may have seen the ad left last week. Again just having it in the bar for a year going forward does nothing for the potential lost business revenue from this year.
You previously offered a different location for my ad and I simply asked when and where? That has now changed apparently.
Again, this does not resolve this matter.

I received the email from Nicole, she said she only had one option for a 3 star bar, because she thought I was a real estate agent. I am not. when I said that she started an exchange of excuses. I am not in a conflicting business, the opposite, real estate agents seek me out. I also asked for a timeline The approximate timeline from when all the proofs are approved to delivery of the glasses is 90 business days. This means all the spots need to be sold first (unknown amount of time) allowing this going on for a ridiculously long time, bypassing the start of my season. She doesn't care to understand a small business marketing budget, ending by saying the offer will expire at 12:03 on 1/20/25. This is not acceptable. I just want a refund. It's been a year since this started and I have been patient long enough.
Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.I started working with the owner and a second sales rep., Ron on 10/23/2024. He told me of a restaurant to have my business on the glasses, we spoke a couple of times and I followed up via text. The last I heard from him was on 11/14/2024. I need a new code to get in to get the owner's phone number to reach back out to him. I waited and gave the holiday's time to settle down thinking I'd hear back, but have not.

I think it was more of an issue with the 2nd sales rep. or?? I'd be happy to call the owner directly, he responded with his number at one point but I didn't keep it. If you can send that I will call, then if I need additional help I can let you know.

There was some more correspondence between me and the business that did not go. I emailed. I realized Monday was a holiday and e-mail Monday, e-mail, whatever, and then I just haven't heard anything back from anybody.
This is really out of hand, Todd gave me his "best" sales rep., Ron to deal with who seemed like there might have a good outcome. But he never came through with promised advertising at a great location/restaurant.
I think a full refund is the best and only solution to this matter.
Please advise as to my next steps.Customer Answer

I was just following up on the couple of emails from last Friday and this Monday and voicemail and stuff. Is that because things weren't acceptable but it was coming through from the company via e-mail and that Rep anyway. But I dealt with previously and she's the one that basically started all the problem to begin with. So anyway, ###-###-#### and they had also given me an ultimatum to have a decision made by 12:03 PM this past Monday. So, you know, it wasn't something that came through again on the BBB, so I couldn't reject anything there. So if you can e-mail me back or give me a call, that would be great.Customer Answer

We already called the BBB regarding this. We are not responding anymore to this woman. We gave her a chance to get a free ad even though it was not necessary. She chose not to respond to the offer. She can call me at (513)535-3532 if she would like. I called and said we will not be responding any further. This has been going on for a ridiculous amount of time.

2/27/25 11:15AM per customer call, she talked to Todd and nothing was accomplished. Said she has phone logs of when she contacted the business (business claims she didn't contact them). Will send that info to BBB to be shared with the business.Customer Answer

Here are the text exchanges and one call on the call log. As you can see, he said the restaurant offered was no longer an option and there were no others. Not several calls from Ron to me and me not responding.Business Response

She will get a new proof. The salesperson is working on the restaurant now. Depending on when we get the job in, it should be in the restaurant within 60 days, but that is not in any way shape or form guaranteed. Sometimes it goes longer.Customer Answer
