    I am surprised to read such a negative review for Turf Nerd because my experience with them has been nothing but great. I have spoken with David in the past and he was very caring and helpful during our conversation. He truly cares how my lawn looks, I am not "just another number" which is why I choose to support local. I highly recommend Turf Nerd Lawn Care if you want a beautiful lawn!

    In 2022 Turf Nerd acquired Showplace Lawn. I had a very good experience with Showplace and the exact opposite with Turf Nerd. Over 2022 Turf Nerd did almost every application at a different time than Showplace. Per the owner of Turf Nerd everything Showplace did was wrong, but my lawn always looked very good with Showplace. The biggest issue with Turf Nerd, however, was its lack of communication and following through on its commitments. I would call T\urf Nerd and most often my calls were not returned. Additionally Truf Nerd was supposed to contact me in Aug 2022 about reseeding my lawn. It never called and when I finally called them, and when they finally returned that call, it blamed me for not calling them. At that point I decided to end my relationship with Truf Nerd after one year. I did request they perform the final application for the year and they said they would, at no cost (which I did not ask for). But ultimately Turf Nerd emailed me and said they would not apply the fall treatment because I had over seeded and it said the application could not be done on a seeded lawn. I tried to contact them before over-seeding but once again they never returned my call. If I could have reached them I may not have seeded or they could have tailored the fall treatment to take out the chemical that would have hurt the seeding. Instead I did not get the winterization treatment that would have helped the seeding. Overall it was a miserable experience and I would never recommend them.
