      Ego sent me here for chainsaw not oiling purchased December 2023 used once. Dropped off May 4th & had to leave battery and charger. Was told they need it.Didn't mention how long this would take and didn't ask since they tried to embarrass me by starting the chainsaw in front of me and saying I forgot to release the brake. I kindly repeated that I was there because it was not oiling, nothing to do with having any starting issues. The tech's response was "Oh" and I was given a paper, required to pay a $50 service fee even under warranty. I live an hour away and spent the day in town waiting for a call. Finally, I went home in the evening. Called May 14 and was told a new oil pump was on order from Ego. Called again May 22 I asked how much longer and was told "It's hard to tell, Ego sometimes takes a few days and other times a few weeks". I was called back about an hour later and was told ********** ego did not have the oiler part available so they are sending a new chainsaw. Waited until June 10 and called back in the early evening and spoke to a different guy. I asked for status and was told again they had no update. Becoming more frustrated, I sternly said I want to know when this will be resolved. The guy started yelling at me on the phone and I could not speak because he was yelling so much. I hung up. I then called Ego service and reported this rude encounter and voiced my frustration with the whole ordeal. I was then told that Do-Cut has never placed an order to replace my chainsaw. They said they were escalating the case. As of today, I am still waiting on a resolution having called Ego on June ***************************************** within a couple days with the shipment information. My chainsaw, battery, and charger are still with Do-Cut Service. I want my chainsaw fixed and refunded the $50 I paid for in warranty service.

      Hello ******************, Sorry your experience with us was unpleasant.

      All work orders require a deposit even warranty considerations and once it is found that a factory technician has deemed it warranty the deposit is always refunded.

      Also the long wait was EGO not having your replacement part and then not having your replacement machine

      Your deposit will be credited when your new machine comes in.

      I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

      Ego finally sent the chainsaw and I picked it up yesterday at Do Cut.  They refunded the $50.00 as well.
