I had a sump pump put into my basement in September 2021. I had no problems with the owner or the crew at that time. I was told I had a 20-year warranty on the work and I believe a 10-year warranty on the pump itself. This week I found water in my basement. It is January 2023. I have been calling the office of Maintenance Plus Services, panicking that my basement would be flooded again. The office number has a full mailbox and a message could not be left. I then called the owner Mike S***** and left him 2 messages on that Monday. No response. Okay, it was Monday and maybe he was busy with other jobs. I then called both numbers on Tuesday and the mailbox was full at the office and Mike never returned my call. On Wednesday I called and asked Mike, the owner, to please let me know if he was unavailable so I might call someone else and he could text me if there were problems. No response. I had my plumber, Kobella, come today to have them look at the problem and they did not want to mess with the foundation. They then called Mike S*****, the owner of MPG company, and he would not pick up either.. All I want is for the warranty to be honored and for the water problem to be resolved. But, now that I have read the other complaint against this company, perhaps I too need to find another company and file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General? I also sent an email to ms*****[email protected].
